I'm no going to try and argue that BB didn't have historical valid concerns about an aging quarterback's possible decline. Brady fought to have a long term deal with the Pats. It wasn't that he wanted to leave until he saw the writing on the wall. Once he accepted that reality then it's kind of understandable he was willing to listen to alternatives and would want some control of his destiny. So let's not get all "Brady abandoned us". Belichick wanted to move on from and Brady followed suit once that was clear to him. I really don't understand how some of you are thinking Brady instigated the whole talking to Miami out of the blue. He considered elsewhere and engaged with elsewhere when it was apparent he wasn't wanted. BB and Brady both weren't all in with each other.
