Patriots Training Camp - Thursday 7/28

It's always encouraging when the HC praises a player that just received a large contract extension by the GM. It shows that the HC and GM are of one mind and have a great relationship.
Fischer-Spassky v Tiddly-Winks

What are the odds of picking not one but two TEs in the 3rd round and not one but both sucking ass? They've gotta be pretty low right?
One of the very Worst rounds of Bill's Entire tenure here. In-ex-****ing-scusable.

Why would a Patriot "fan" root for a young player to fail?
Because he sucks, just like Harry. Of course, you thought Harry would thrive.

There is no reason to root against a player that sucks. This type of thinking divides the team and fans. Some players work out, some don't.

There's no reason in my mind (short of a terrible moral transgression) to ever root against a current Patriots' player. Whether they're the best player or the worst, extremely accomplished or labeled a bust, a long-time starter, a rookie, or a newly arrived free-agent, I will be rooting for the utmost success of every single guy who steps on the field wearing a Pats' uniform.

Not rooting against player, simply that he be cut. He sucks.

There's a lot of dead weight on the roster that needs to be trimmed.

Couple of things about what I read about TC today. 1, well great, Parker and Jones have a rapport, okay it is better than if they don't., it is definitely a good thing.

But for me it will be /would be great to see Jones on the same page with Thornton, Agholor, and/or Nixon. One day at a time, but the more I see and hear, the more it seems that we feel we can count on the 3 truatworthy "number 2s," Parker, Bourne, Meyers. So naturally, now I am hoping to see shiny objects being shiny.

The other thing... "The defense did pushups" scares me already, nonsensical as that is. I'd see downside in them intercepting Jones 5 times too.

looking forward to every day seeing one more card

???

One very obvious reason would be that he sucks and you want him gone because he sucks.

I hope guys beat out others, but I do not root against anyone. I want Thornton to do well because I think we need the speed. By rooting for Thornton I am implying someone else will be cut, but I do not root against that (or any) player.

If you sucked at posting, I would not root against you either.

Thornton got 1st team reps with Jones today and was 4/4 in red zone targets.

N''Keal Harry staying on the team kept the team from moving forward as needed at the WR position. Every single Patriots fan on the planet should have been rooting for him to get cut, pretty much from day one.

That's just one easy example.

Had forgotten how much of a behemoth Parker was/is. This training camp although early is really creating a lot of expectations for us fans and the great thing about the player is he really seems to genuinely excited to be here and take on that role. Here’s to him creating something really special for himself, Mac, the team and of course the fans.

I think there is a subtle difference to want a player gone because he sucks in comparison to actually wanting a player to fail rather than succeed. Surely most fans want Alliasi to be a late bloomer and play to a high level and significantly contribute to the team rather than actually wanting a player to be sh$t.

What an a-hole post.

Yea...let's all root for a player on the NEP to fail.
