I love the optimism and sentiment, but I’m pretty sure this is a dead horse that people feel isn’t close to being done beaten. Can we move on now?
The 7th rounder in two years will be a nice little bonus when it arrives, but the main comp in this deal is the immediate $1m in cap space. If we had cut him, which was certain to happen, we wouldn't get that cap relief. So we made the most of the situation we were in.So you prefer nothing over the 7th round pick? A lot of people thought he was a steal at that spot

He was the kind of guy that needed good injury luck his rookie year to succeed, and he didn't have that. Once he was sidelined and Brady forgot who he was, it was all downhill from there. That blown call vs KC didn't help either. He also took several egregious head shots. It wouldn't surprise me if his luck turns and he's still be in the league 4-5 years from now.
You didn’t have to, the Tampa Tom forum crowd will keep it pinned at the top.I just put the thread on "Watch". I'm sick, I know.
Then you must think Jack Jones is doomed as well? The minute Herm Edwards said Harry was going to be a good player was when I knew he was going to be a bust...
Herm Edwards praises N'Keal Harry, says he's similar to Dez Bryant
There's no doubt that N'Keal Harry is ready for the NFL. Harry is the only wide receiver to be drafted in the first round by the New England Patriots in the Bill Belichick era. He is a 6-foot-2, 228 pound receiver that has a knack for high pointing footballs…patriotswire.usatoday.com
I don’t know about “great”, but he looked decent against Detroit before he got injured on what looked like something that shouldn’t have kept him out for as long as it did. He injured his hammy in practice then he injured his ankle from that game. He was never the same. Are you forgetting that after his great training camp showing, he went onto the IR prior to the start of the season (9/2/19)? He didn't come back until week 10 and looked like it was too soon. Didn't he partially tear his hamstring that year?
Then you must think Jack Jones is doomed as well?
Easley was the worse pick given he supposedly had a really bad attitude and had more opportunities than Harry - yet still was invisible.I am still 50/50 on whether it is Harry or Easley.

Best pick is Edelman in the 7th round because of the tremendous value there. Gronk as a dominant hall of fame TE is the second best pick. Givens as a 7th round pick comes in third (finished out his time in NE with TD receptions in 7 consecutive playoff games).
N'Keal Harry is the worst. Chad Jackson is second worst. Third worst goes to the dual TE 3rd round selections of Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene (took a big swing and missed x2 at a major position of need).
Keep it oh wait it's good for something...good for nothing.I need to find a Bears fan to sell my Harry autographed rookie card to.
A lot of us questioned the Easley pick and justifiably so but he played way better than Harry while here that's a fact.I am still 50/50 on whether it is Harry or Easley.

Any player can have a catch, or a game. That's not flashing. That's the law of averages. But even in his "best" game (v. Seattle), when he had 8 receptions, he only averaged 9 yards per catch and didn't have a touchdown.Agreed. He flashed because he has physical ability. Let him run around with Fields so he uses his athleticism without thinking, and he might bounce.
Eh grading after the 5th round is tough. Most picks in that range are expected to flame out. A D grade in the first round is very different than a D grade in the 6th round.Report Card: WRs and TEs drafted by Belichick
