You're not being too smart here. If I had a "phobia" about this or was "judgmental," I'd say, "Family smooching on the lips is wrong and no one should do it!" Yeah, personally I think it's odd and likely unhealthy on different levels -- it's not how I, anyone I know or ever have seen, behaves. But I also accept that not everyone in America shares the same family customs and stated as much.

Right, you're fine with it because you said if you weren't, blah blah blah. Then you search the internet to find an article and then you point out "ewe" reactions. Your phobia is clear. Look it, I'm not going search the internet and post articles to support families showing affection with an innocent kiss on the lips, though they are abundant. You obviously must have seen them but decided to post the negative one instead. Nor am I trying to promote it. The ewe reactions come from a mistaken conclusion that the kiss must be sexual in nature. What other possible "ewe"factor is there? People judging others due to their own Irrational fears.

I didn't search the Internet, it's something I knew but initially resisted posting 'til you pressed the issue. Read the article, you might learn something important for the sake of your grandchildren. Unless, of course, you want to continue condemning anything contrary to what you believe as "mistaken conclusion," "phobic" and "irrational fear."
