I've moved out the Brady debates. Let's try and keep this thread on topic, which includes @Wozzy and @crawhammer, who can continue their other debate in another thread.

Sorry didn't know a crappy Baylor program was Division 1 FBS. I stand corrected. I don't trust BB's wide receiver choices. Been burned in the past. What does Div II have to do with anything? I am lost with what you mean.
Thornton is 6 2 181. Jameson Williams is 6 1 179. But if they'd gotten Williams you'd be slurping it up not crying about how much he weighs. How long before this skinny kid gets lit up and is out for a few games? Can he last a full season in the big leagues? This isn't Division 2....
12-2 won the Sugar Bowl last year.Sorry didn't know a crappy Baylor program was Division 1 FBS. I stand corrected. I don't trust BB's wide receiver choices. Been burned in the past.

Part of that is size but a lot is attitude. I’m encouraged TT is working on gaining strength. He knows what he needs to do and is doing it. If he competes more intensely than the DBs he’ll win battles. He seems be a likable guy. Hoping to hell it works out for the Pats and for TT.
However, the photos from OTA's just added fuel to the fire. There are some very big strong CB's and safeties in this league. They will be taking big time shots on him and trying to intimidate him.
He reminds me so much of a former Eagles WR named Todd Pinkston, who came into teh league at 6-2 and 174 pounds.
He had a couple of good (not great years) and became notorious for his alligator arms. DB's on defending teams quickly learned that they could physically dominate him.
Should be noted that pinkston played in an era where DBs were allowed to be more physical defending opposing wideouts. He seems be a likable guy. Hoping to hell it works out for the Pats and for TT.

Big 12 Champions who finished the season ranked 5th in the AP Poll. Crappy.Sorry didn't know a crappy Baylor program was Division 1 FBS. I stand corrected. I don't trust BB's wide receiver choices. Been burned in the past.
This Bourne versus Meyers talk may all be for nothing, there's a distinct possibility Meyer's isn't even here this season considering he doesn't have a contract.
The two players are almost identical anyways, Bourne may be a shade faster, Meyers a shade better at route running... but they may as well be twins. The depth of talent at WR is great to have, but there's a redundancy there... especially if the young kids (Thornton, Wilkerson, Nixon) emerge in camp and preseason.
