Gotta carry Four Offensive Tackles knowing our Potential 5 game then the tub starters.

I suspect that rosters are relatively easy, since we almost always uses more spots for special teamers than we do.

In this case, Bethel and Cody Davis are very likely to make the team as STO players.

Yet.... Does the compensatory allocation period end soon???? Then there will be a few signings so as to not offset picks gained earlier.. IIRC.
It ended yesterday, with the exception of Justin Houston and Melvin Ingram who received the UFA tender from their teams (formerly "May 9 tender," which was used on Blount in 2017). Flowers was always excluded from comp picks since he was released, though. It's probably more injury related, since he was released with a failed physical designation after missing 10 games last season and being questionable for another 5 that he did play in.

Speaking about Harry you have the think that Slow-Quan Williams is at his Patriots end also because he has shown nothing to date. Well the nothing part is not exactly right because he has shown that he stinks' as a CB the little engine that couldn't.

don't think Sweet Feet is going to make it back to the roster? I can't really disagree, but i would like to lol

Tough row to hoe for him to recover and be effective at the age of 30... here's to hoping though... I would like to see him in the backfield once again...

and you really think they will bring flowers back? I thought they might, but there hasn't even been a sniff of a rumor of them doing so...
That hip injury is hard to come back from. If he was younger and a QB like Tua then he would have a better shot.

Yeah IMO Flowers will be back.

OFFENSE (25) I agree on 23 of your players, and accept the idea of White on the PUP list
1. no 4th TE; Asiasi OR Keene I think there will be 4 with Keene at FB on occasion
2. I agree with Montgomery making the team, as STer just as Bolden did
3) We disagree on 2 of the backup OL's. I do expect free agent additions, or even minor trades. You my be right about Herron and Ferentz
3a) OT backup: Herron played lots of reps, and is our most likely backup OT.
3b) OG backup: I don't see Sherman making the team.
3c) OC: I have Ferentz over Hines as the Game Day backup at OC, although Belichick would like an upgrade. Hines to the PS.
BOTTOM LINE: IN: Herron, Ferentz
OUT: Sherman, Hines, Keene
===============================
DEFENSE AND SPECIALISTS (28) I agree on all your choices; and add Jack Jones
1. I call Matt Jones our returner, and have him making the 53 as a STer
2. It is Anderson for now, but I certainly prefer Flowers. Anderson should retire
3. It is Jennings for now, but I certainly prefer an addition.
==========================
OVERALL BOTTOM LINE
A) We need to add a backup OC/OG as an upgrade to Ferentz.
B) We need to add 2-3 up front players as upgrades to Anderson, Davis and Jennings.
C) We need to add injury replacements as needed (perhaps for Cajuste).

Can't argue with much here. A few guesses...
We have a new OT - maybe Stueber, maybe a trade/FA
at least 1 of Jennings & Uche don't make it - Mitchell and/or Roberts instead
Strong & M. Jones may have made MonTy obsolete.
I'd take Ekuale over Davis, I think he really showed something down the stretch.

Great early post @Zuma ....I didn't do a big dive yet, but at an initial glance, I would expect our two late round O-lineman to make the team. Looking forward to seeing if we add any free agents in the next few weeks.

I think he starts the season on either the pup or ir.... Unless BB outright releases him for contract / money reasons, like he did with Edelman

Bill told Johnson that there is no room for a FB on the 53. I believe him.

As far as Anderson, Belichick got him to revise his contract so that he could be a possibility (competing with Cowart and any new acquisitions). I certainly favor an acquisition.

As an aside, I'm fine with Keene as the 3rd TE. If has use as a blocker and an occasional FB, he is probably more useful than Asiasi.

Keene is a TE. He can run block on occasion and I think that is the plan IMO...but he is a TE.

Unfounded.

Keene has never started a game.

Asiasi snap count Devin Asiasi Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com vs Keenes snap count Dalton Keene Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com are basically equal.

Keene has 7 Special Teams snaps vs San Francisco compared to 0 for Assai.
We can just speculate,

However, I don't think that we need 4 TE's on the 53.

What do you think the advantages are of each? Or perhaps, we should sign a veteran blocking back instead of either?

Might be more a question of the “who”, rather than the “what” of a preconceived number they need at the position. Kind of surprised they haven’t added any other competition at TE, but anticipate there will be by camp, even if minimal resources are involved.

Hopefully one of Asiasi or Keene can emerge in year 3 and earn their keep.

Based only on what we know now, would prefer more of an exclusive blocking TE as well.
