But they obviously thought the guards they had weren't good enough for what they were being paid. Is this really that hard for you to understand or are you just that dumb? But they wouldn't have had to draft an OL guy in the 1st if they kept either of the G's they let go.
You talking about the elite competitor, the NT out of Connecticut, who dominated at the Senior Bowl? A perfect fit in New England.
Strange at 29 was the proverbial square peg trying to go into the round hole.
Every year at draft time, I am prepared to be disappointed by the Pats draft and Yet every year I follow BCG, and all the other draft guys as they painstakingly pour through film and make suggestions that usually get me excited about who they will draft. And EVERY freakin year I get a list of new patriots who are virtually complete strangers to me and once again I've been fooled again. So welcome Cole ****ing strange some freaking OG from a school noone has heard of in a conference that probably shouldn't exist. No Daxon Hill. no Clemson CB, No Travis Jones. But a guard that I guarantee you won't be starting in september.
Call me on Sunday to let me know who else I won't care about with their next 8 picks. Because I don't give a ****.
Looks like he lost a bet or something.
That escalated quickly. And you’re an angry, diabeetus-stricken, fat slob whose pee pee hasn’t gotten wet in a long time. Jizz oozes out of your eyeballs as you limp around the house, complaining about your back pain. Want to get back on topic now? Should I pull the thread? Or is that going to be a complete waste of my time?
You're the one who went off topic talking about Richards. It's clear it's time to put your sorry self back on ignore. And you’re an angry, diabeetus-stricken, fat slob whose pee pee hasn’t gotten wet in a long time. In an interview with Strange at the senior bowl he is asked about his position. He mentions he had played two games at center when their center was hurt, and he played one game at tackle. He then is asked about his interviews with NFL clubs. He mentions it was all over the place, some wanted him just at center, some wanted him at guard, and one even talked with him a lot about playing tackle.
Wonder what team that was?????
Hmmm, not me. Strange seems like another of BB's ham-fisted reaches, but luckily for us it appears that Matt and the other pros are now running the draft have done the other picks; I am pretty optimistic about Tyquan Thornton and Marcus Jones.
Of course none of us know; Strange could turn into the next Logan Mankins, but he did not get off to a good start at the Senior Bowl practices.
I said those same talking points where used for Richards. It’s called a comparison. You then jumped in, claimed those talking points were not used with respect to Richards, I said they had and had the thread bookmarked to prove it, then you went the ad-hominem route so I responded in kind. You embarrassed yourself and now you’re going to go hide in a corner after getting stuffed into a locker. Thanks for making it so I don’t have to go through that thread to prove my point, though. It’s a beautiful day out and I’d like to get outside. You're the one who went off topic talking about Richards. It's clear it's time to put your sorry self back on ignore.
Not sure where to put this without derailing someone’s thread. Apologies if it was already posted.
Could have been a lot of teams. A lot are going the route the Patriots have typically taken - positional flexibility up front. For example, teams in the current NFL are looking to ideally have two LTs on the roster. G/C flexibility as well.In an interview with Strange at the senior bowl he is asked about his position. He mentions he had played two games at center when their center was hurt, and he played one game at tackle. He then is asked about his interviews with NFL clubs. And like the typical bully, on the internet and in real life, he sulks off into the proverbial corner (his gay, little ignore list) with his thumb in his mouth and cries when he gets his mouth bloodied. That escalated quickly.
So your saying it's not smart to draft 1st round talent in the 1st and instead draft 2nd-4th rounders in the 1st and use the extra picks you got for trading down to move up and grab a 4th round talent wr in the 2nd? Now that's some high iq right there.Yes. Your evaluation is an F- grade. Thank you for sharing.
The more I hear the more I like.
Strange would have been gone at 33 to Tampa. Note that they took the next guard
