He does both, the overall result is something I am beyond pleased with.
Picking on “mistakes” in a business that has “mistakes” made consistently by everyone is silly.
Name anyone better.

Look at it this way. If I have to approve of the ability of a person and they are:

Right 100% of the time when the next best is right 90% or they are right 40% of the time when the next best is right 30% what’s the difference?
The difference is in example 2 guys like you act as if the 60% wrong compare ms to others being 100% right.

A solid DT to eat up the middle might be the most impactful. Takes some attention away from Barmore and Judon. Next, I am with you on a cover LB. Seeing some of our current backers drop into coverage is unsettling, if not cringe-worthy at times.

Feels they’ll ultimately trot out another LB group that looks like they’re on roller skates when facing the offenses of the modern times. A big ass at DT doesn’t seem like too much to ask though. That trickle effect could hopefully help elsewhere.

No, I didn't say you couldn't say anything negative. Saying it 10+ times was all I was sort of alluding to. It's like the guy you're at a party with saying everything sucks when the rest of us are trying to have a good time. That's not exactly a lot of fun, wouldn't you agree?

But if you knew your statement was ridiculous why do you sound exactly the same tonight?


Why do you feel negative about the picks? Don’t use “because I think someone else thinks” but why do YOU feel negative? What knowledge and insight are you using?

At this point, I don't see the point in trading up particularly far. We are about to get two really good players if we just stay where we are.

I assume Travis Jones has an injury issue along with Dean.

Or a lot of teams don’t value the 0 tech anymore? I’ve read he can play other techs.

Looking for the positive.... Both picks definitely have a head-scratcher element to them.

Strange is a boring, but high floor pick, who fills a need. Should plug a hole for 5 years.

I'm definitely interested to see what happens with Thornton. It's been shown over and over that good route running creates more separation than pure speed. Hopefully this kid runs good routes and lets Mac get back to when he was just chucking it up to Waddle and Smith.

I don’t understand. If “grades” and round projections are fact and proof of bad picks how do we explain Dean?
