It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Um, we drafted Mac Jones last yearEvery year at draft time, I am prepared to be disappointed by the Pats draft and Yet every year I follow BCG, and all the other draft guys as they painstakingly pour through film and make suggestions that usually get me excited about who they will draft. And EVERY freakin year I get a list of new patriots who are virtually complete strangers to me and once again I've been fooled again. So welcome Cole ****ing strange some freaking OG from a school noone has heard of in a conference that probably shouldn't exist. No Daxon Hill. no Clemson CB, No Travis Jones. But a guard that I guarantee you won't be starting in september.
Call me on Sunday to let me know who else I won't care about with their next 8 picks. Because I don't give a ****.
I saw a little snippet of Bill talking about how difficult it is to predict how college WRs will translate into the pros. The problem is that he seems to be the only one who can't figure it out. Solid WRs are picked by teams every year.Chad Jackson came damn close - Belichick should never be left to draft a wide receiver - his % of picking good players at the position is about as bad as it gets
I can live with the pick regardless. Last year the o line was a mess for most of the season. Lots of injuries and players moving around. Hopefully Cole will solidify the line.I can live with the pick if Strange is a first year starter.
And really bad ones are too. Who let you out of the other forum???? Back to the Tompa thread with you.I saw a little snippet of Bill talking about how difficult it is to predict how college WRs will translate into the pros. It does seem that most of the fans here are not supportive of this selection. I'm glad that I didn't start the thread.LOL. So why aren't all y'all sitting in the draft room then? Who's been the most productive team of the last 20 years? Can that really be done with endless crappy selections? I have heard this lament SOOOOOOOOO many times. Kyle Duggar! WTF! NOT EVEN DIVISION 1!
Last time we drafted a guard in the first round he played with us for a decade and made the Pro Bowl. I recall similar outrage at that time too. Boo hoo.
Well, we have to live with it regardless. Like most people, I like Round 1 picks to play a lot. Idk if the OL was a mess, but it clearly wasn’t good enough. Then again nothing was good enough, except for a few individual players.I can live with the pick regardless. Last year the o line was a mess for most of the season. Lots of injuries and players moving around. Hopefully Cole will solidify the line.
The OL isn’t an exciting pick, but we do realize that preceding the Newton year BB was 12-4 and before that, SB champ…I actually blame Kraft. Should have moved on from Bill after the Cam Newton year.

This is the perfect place for a Belichick critic. Even some of his most loyal supporters and respected posters have been complaining about this pick. Get with the program kid.And really bad ones are too. Who let you out of the other forum???? Back to the Tompa thread with you.
I didn't bother to watch but I did hear some stuff about a string of WRs being drafted right after the Pats moved down.Shocked by the pick - like the player, but was surprised to see him go in the 1st.
Having said that, I find threads started to attack a Pats player, particularly a new one, rather ugly, honestly.
I don't know why BB went this way. Have no idea where he's going tomorrow, either, but I still hope he gets Jones or Brisker or Gordon or Booth or Dean or Chenal or Anderson or...
I'm pretty sure we won't have to worry about another Strange pick.Whelp, here we go. Onto day 2. A lot of talent is left on the board and the Pats are stocked up with picks in the golden ticket zone.
Draft isn’t over yet ladies and gentlemen!
