They filled the holes.
And there's no such thing as a 1 WR. That's a fantasy football position; it doesn't exist on a roster.
Interesting. I wonder if the Chiefs, Bills, Rams, Bengals and all the other teams that went deep think they didn’t have this mythical number 1 WR

Travis Jones starts to come in play around 29 too, but probly a bit high for him

I'm guessing they had multiple guys they liked still on the board at 21 and made a guess that at least 1 of those guys would be there still at 29.

Exactly. And while the draft industry makes its living by getting fans all worked up believing that there's a huge difference in the odds of success of the 21st vs. the 29th pick, history very clearly proves otherwise.

The number of solid players that Pats have acquired from 3rd round and later picks is a huge reason for the 6 titles. Why argue with the track record?

How would someone better be available at 29 lol. Literally 8 players are removed from the pool.
Taking the same guy at 29 is better than taking him at 21 because he is cheaper. Plus you gained 2 other players.

How could it be someone better?
Yeah, I don’t know about that. But it could be someone high on their draft board. Johnson, Dean, etc.

Would Minnesota pick a qb with 32 or 34?

Because there are several guy who weren’t expected to last until the 21st pick like Jermaine Johnson. So they weren’t targeting guys who they never thought they had a shot at drafting.

They're up here signing loafs of bread.

I've seen it all now.

Lol. My last comment got deleted fast.

I know what happened but the way it's worded isn't what you're saying.

Getting a 3 AND 4 is a big deal. Of course depending upon what you do with them.

Ravens have Hamilton and could add Lloyd or Dean here. Thats a coup.

Ravens take Lindebaum

That doesn't make the player better at 29.

Of course you must of meant better value.

I could see another trade back here if the next 3 picks go well

Good pick by the Ratbirds
