Is the brady vs belichick debate ruining this board or is it just me?

OK, so I have to ask you - because I've been quietly watching this go on for a while now and I'm sort of curious as to what your issue is with Tom? How is being 7-3 in Super Bowls a bad thing...? And in each of the two losses against the Giants, he led them both times for a go-ahead touchdown late in the game before the defense gave up a score in the closing seconds, so while he could have been better, it's not exactly like he was completely terrible. Last I checked, we've had two decades that were far better than what 31 other teams had, so I just don't understand the ire you seem to have with him?

I'm just having some fun with the Tommyites...they go ballistic when it comes to Brady

7-3 is a great thing. But as I mentioned before, Brady's super bowl performances even in the SB wins is not always great. I was merely comparing him to Montana who has a significantly higher quarterback rating in the Super Bowl. Some folks here don't like that...I have no idea why. If Brady makes a mistake according to them (at least 10 by my count in the SB), it's someone else's fault (receiver ran the wrong route, ref shouldn't have thrown the flag, bad play call, etc).

And yes, Brady led his team to go ahead touchdown late in SB 42 (not in SB 46, where the last time the Pats scored was early in the 3rd quarter). But the game is 60 minutes and it was the most important game in NFL history. You can't expect a defense that allowed only 17 points to do any better. THe offense had to step up and Brady (by his own admission) stated he could not figure out the Giants blitz packages that day.

He definitely doesn't have a respect for his opponents...this is why he'll never be MJ, this loss right here.
The clip you showed was him responding to the Giants starting that nonsense saying the Pats wouldn’t score more that 17 points when they just hung 38 on them a little over a month ago. How did you expect Tom to respond to that?

Oh and MJ didn’t really respect anybody. If someone complimented him, he’d find motivation on how it offended him.
You can tell that when he was complimenting the NYG during this presser that he was full of crap and wasn't being truthful.
He’s admitted that presser stuff was a facade. Remember all the times he’d talk up bad teams? He’s acknowledged it looks ridiculous talking up a 1-7 when deep down he knows they suck.

While the offense was disappointing and McDaniels admitting he had no answers for Spags, the defense was actually pretty bad if you watch the game again. They missed about 5 turnovers that would’ve changed the game. In fact, the defense knew that was the last drive of the game and knew the circumstances, but failed miserably.

If Brady makes a mistake (at least 10 by my count in the SB), it's someone else's fault (receiver ran the wrong route, ref shouldn't have thrown the flag, bad play call, etc).
He’s definitely had his fair share of blunders.

I'm saying this respectfully but aren't you around 90-95?? Again - respectfully! Im hoping to make it there myself.

I'm asking bc I'd imagine someone who's lived that long knows the score in life. You're not the same person at 20, you are at 30. And I'd imagine that's the same for 40-50 too. Again being almost 100 I'd figure you'd cut him some slack at the half way point approaching 45.

How in the world anyone can call Brady a pos is beyond me though. Not even being dramatic but that **** shouldn't ever be written or spoken here. If you're a real Pats fan you owe everything to Brady. You'd have 0 memories or excitement over the last 20 year's that ultimately defines this franchise. You're off the rails man. Hernandez, Ty Hill, Caruth, Hardy etc you have plenty examples of what a pos athlete is. Brady is so far away from those types it's not funny.

And again just from a pure fan perspective. NEP weren't cool, weren't winning, weren't very relevant before he helped put 6 Lombardi's at 1PP.
Pats victories were a result of the team including coaches and staff. I enjoyed them all. I speak of Brady as a person, a human being not as the GOAT. He was an excellent narcissist QB.

The guy is universally (or nearly universally) loved by all who know him. But you, some random dude on a message board, know the real Brady.

Stop with that silliness.

Are you for real. Brady like the Pats are hated by most football fans.

Here's your answer.

I feel like its been discussed on 80% of threads for the last 2 years with no end in sight. The same arguments are brought up and its just one side trashing the other nonstop. It might just be me, but I feel like over the last two years its gotten noticebly bad.
It is self flogging for some.

There might be some Brady vs Bledsoe members in there ... they really enjoyed that self punishment.

Personally is why i like this board

Yall forgive me, but americans are one easy group of people to bait into enraging. Only country that comes to mind that is close is Polis people, but they do it on purpose

I dont mind the obvious troll in a internet forum, its amusing (sometimes). But i always come out amazed how easy people still get hooked, fishing pole and all. And its usually the same guys, over and over

#notbait #maybeitis

Aren’t we still arguing about Brady vs Bledsoe? How’s a guy supposed to keep up?

Lol, Amen to that. It’s funny, I was admittedly a Bledsoe guy, but I eventually appreciated the fact there was a better guy for the team and got over it. Although, winning a title that year made that realization a little easier

I think we can finally put this to bed if some people would just finally admit that their guy was a passenger on this train while the other guy was a Deity that gave us a dynasty....

You ain't seen nothing if Brady becomes a Dolphin.

I mean this in as nice a way possible. I think MAC10 believes none of what he's saying and is just pulling the greatest troll job of all time and has dug himself so deep into this joke hole that he has no way out of it and has to carry on with it til the end of time.

His only fuel is that people just keep feeding into it

Fans don't know him. They're just fans. Teammates, ex-teammates, business partners, family, friends, ex-friends, etc... they know him.

You don't know the celebrities you think you know.

Everything I said about Brady being less than perfect in the SB (6 INTS, 3 fumbles, 1 IG penalty) is true... A lot of those mistakes could have cost the pats the SBs they won. I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings.
