Report: Brady tried to push Belichick out for Bill O'Brien

Please stop

Hey, McDonald's fries are good. Remember when I ordered them from you yesterday at the Drive through? Next time a little bit more salt, please...

LOL Brady himself said that if it weren't for the tuck rule he would have been Bledsoe's backup in 2002 and possibly off the team,
Anyone who thinks Brady - if he actually said that - was being serious is an idiot. Once Bledsoe got healthy in 2001, Brady still started over Bledsoe the rest of the way. Why anyone thinks that would have changed during the 2002 offseason is a mystery.
let's not act as if Brady would have proceeded to win multiple super bowls if Belichick cut him or he were drafted by another team.
Let's also not act like Belichick would have a single f'ing ring as a HC without Brady.

You are perpetuating the conversation.

Unfortunately for you the Brady vs Belichick debate will outlast the both of us.

If I reply to everything you packed into that post then I would get booted from the thread so I'll summarize:

1. Cleveland finished out the 1995 season on a 2-10 skid. Belichick left the team in complete disarray... 4-12 in 1996 and it wasn't until the Super Bowl winning season of 2000 that they would get back over .500. From 1991-1999 the Cleveland/Baltimore teams had one winning season.
2. The 11-5 2008 season is the most overrated thing ever attributed to Belichick. They nearly went undefeated the season prior with essentially the same team... the only significant difference was the quarterback.
3. The playoff game vs Buffalo obviously was a complete disaster... however, making the postseason counts for something, so congratulations, now let's see if the team continues to ascend. That's the objective.

So you're saying Belichick has incredibly poor judgment? Tuck rule or not, I highly doubt Belichick was ever going back to Bledsoe.

The system argument is embarrassing. No one can legitimately argue Brady is merely a product of a system.

No doubt that's true. Brady wins another Super Bowl with a new team and another head coach and he's still saying he's a system quarterback.

That’s just pure bullish.t, I have never called Brady a “ system” QB in my life. And I was a Brady backer from day one and wanted Bledsoe to be traded. Belichick chose Brady over Bledsoe because Brady would always make the same decision Belichick wanted him to, and Bledsoe would just Huck it. Belichick wanted a QB who wouldn’t turn the ball over and Brady gave that. So go f*ck yourself with your revisionist history because I have always been on the opposite side of the sh.t you are claiming.

Believe nothing you read.
The truth is out there somewhere.

Without Brady BB’s head coaching career ends 19 years ago.

You skimming the posts or what?? Go back and read my post that has you so irate... the quotes and my responses are in sync. You are taking my comments toward MAC10 and attributing them to you. He said Brady was a system quarterback. You and I were talking about Belichick/Cleveland and 2008... exactly how my post reads.

Quite honestly, the guy who deserves the most credit for getting Brady here is **** Rehbein, a man whom I have always considered the most unsung hero of the dynasty. Sadly, he never saw the dynasty he helped build.

so...here we are at Brady/BB gate in 2001?...wake me up when you guys get to 2006 and the REAL nuclear controversy in the NFL the past 25 years

In general, @venecol and I get along just fine in real life. I ordered a Big Mac from him yesterday and he was very kind...

Ian needs a new emoji for your stupid ass attempts at burns.

I'm not believing this. Players play and coaches coach. Brady seems to understand that structure with us very well.
