Report: Brady tried to push Belichick out for Bill O'Brien

The fact that WFT reverted to being a bottom tier defense in 2021 tells me they were overrated in 2020. NO didn't have their best pass rusher vs TB in the playoffs so of course their D was not the same. GB and KC? LOL. So try again. The fact remains that Brady's postseason run in 2020 was and remains lucky. He couldn't repeat what he did in 2020 in 2021. Not even close.
He literally led a game tying drive with less than 1 min left against the SB winner in the divisional round.

Is it his fault his defense put a safety on the best WR in the league?

Besides which I fail to see how that counts as "not even close"

Bill O’Brien is the only OC that Brady didn’t win a ring with, he was the architect of their loss to the Giants. He sucked as an OC, snd he sucked as a coach. And he proved it again this season as Alabama, who with O’Brien as OC lost in the national championship. There is absolutely no evidence at all that the Patriots would have won a Lombardi with him as head coach, and Belichick won three more rings after replacing him with Josh MacDaniels.
O'Brien worked with Brady in some compacity from 2007 to 2011 when Brady had some of his personal best seasons. O'Brien won 4 division titles in 6 full seasons in Houston so I don't think he "sucked." Belichick has 9 seasons without Brady and 0 division titles to show for it. Brady won a Super Bowl with Bruce Arians as his head coach so I don't think it's unreasonable to think he could win one with O'Brien too. Obviously there's "no evidence" because it hasn't happened, so you can't factually back up either end of the argument. In a hypothetical situation, I think Brady/O'Brien would have won a Super Bowl in New England 2018-2021.

His defense and Rams turnovers were the reasons for the comeback

Wasn't Breer once kicked out of a Belichick presser?

And I don’t.

Belichick without Brady: 9 seasons, 1 playoff victory
Brady without Belichick: 2 seasons, 5 playoff victories (one of which was a Super Bowl)

Those are the facts and they are not in dispute.
wow i never know coaches need good players to have success. I'm shocked, I tell you. Shocked! Do QBS need weapons?

Belichick took a garbage team in Cleveland and was building a great organization when Modell ripped it out from under him. He went 11-5 with a QB who hadn’t played since high school( Cassel), and he had the Patriots back in the playoffs with a rookie QB after 1 season without Brady.

Go take a look at the coaching and personnel staff Belichick had put together in Cleveland and tell us it wasn’t going somewhere good. Hell just Ozzie Newsome went to Baltimore and became one of the best GM’s in football, That staff was loaded.

I love Brady, he’s the GOAT, but I am so f*cking sick of the same people in this forum trying to revisit the Brady years at every possible chance. He’s gone, deal with it, go f*cking root for Tampa Bay again, go talk about him in the forum Ian gave you, just STFU in this forum about Brady and Belichick. It’s old news, give it a break.

Brady without Belichick ... 6th or 7th round, possibly an undrafted free agent who never gets a shot.

Taylor Heinicke can find a starting job after going undrafted but the GOAT athlete wouldn’t have if he didn’t get drafted by the pats. Y’all are a joke zero common sense used

Luck had nothing to do with it.

The fact was Belichick knew he couldn't win with Bledsoe. Was actively looking for a replacement for him. He saw something in Brady and kept him as a 4th qb. 4th qb. Let that sink in.

You know you just contradicted yourself right
If BB saw something in him and kept him as a 4th string you think no other coach would’ve seen it after signing him as an undrafted free agent.

Actually nevermind in the Brady6 BB literally said if they dropped him to practice squad another team would’ve picked him up

Well here's the thing for me. It's one thing to keep revisiting the the Brady years and I can see how that gets annoying when people are trying to take over threads about current events. It's quite another thing when there's a handful of one person that wants to erace it.....that it was all a mirrage and he wasn't important to the dynasty. In fact in most instances he highlights every mistake and negative play he ever made and gives him no credit for anything. Then the people who respond to his never ending negativity are the bad guys. Seriously there's probably one person responsible for all the "revisits". Granted, we can ignore him but he can shut up too.

LOL Brady himself said that if it weren't for the tuck rule he would have been Bledsoe's backup in 2002 and possibly off the team, so let's not act as if Brady would have proceeded to win multiple super bowls if Belichick cut him or he were drafted by another team. Brady was fortunate to play in a system well-suited for him for 20 years and to take that system to Tampa.

What a bizarre report to release now. Probably bullsh*t like 99% of speculative claims/rumors/stories nowadays.

Common sense? lmao, Pot, meet kettle, i guess.

you think Brady would have developed along his current path had he followed the career path of Taylor Heinicke? I certainly dont.

Brady didnt enter the league as the greatest of all time...

Hahaha..what a loser! Before his initial Buc season you were telling everyone how the Bucs sucked, Brady would get killed behind their line, that he wouldn't sniff the playoffs, let alone a SB. After he wins it all you do is post excuses. You're pathetic Timmy.

He wouldn't have been the backup and I don't recall him saying he was going to get cut had they lost. Lol. He was just being respectful to Drew. Brady did have a funny Freudian slip and say to Charles Woodson it was a fumble. They both had a laugh.
No I didn’t
You were pretty bad in during the 2020 season downplaying everything and then predicting loses throughout the playoffs.

Coaches need great players to be successful a lot more than vice versa. That shouldn't surprise anyone.

By Bill's own admission he would not have been as successful without Brady and he is correct.

Peyton Manning took Caldwell to a Super Bowl and Caldwell was not a good head coach.
