Will be interesting to see if Bill sits today out.


WR could be in play although WR1 market shrank and could be too steep. Maybe if Robinson wants to play for BB, but as top WR remaining he should take the $. I wouldn't mind my boy Kirk at 10M apy (KR incl.) but not sure he'd move the needle.

CB should be the story of the day: entire FA class still available w plenty solid options; doubt CB island will be in play for NE with top 2 ex Pats.

EDGE also all still in play so could be some bargains tomorrow. Ogbah a name to watch, but prob not for NE.


It is still a buyers market - the last one - so any big long term deal is a win for the club.

But i guess it will be more about re-signings of some core vets and the good old comp formula prioritizing those cut etc.

Had zero time since the last time . yet to jump in the PTP thread.

Id hope for another heavier go - pushing $ to 2023,2024 - make use of the last buyers market as much as possible.
But im not too optimistic..
Every long term deal is a win for the club this year (well in principle).
Next year tables turn..

Yea I just saw. Haven't seen the details but 20 per is way too much for him lol.

Wow just checked his #'s. No 1K season. No 80 rec years and never above 6 TD. That's a lot of money and projection that'll he be a low-end WR1.

No — 2025 and 2026 are woefully inaccurate, and 2024 is pretty terrible too. Use overthecap.com instead for this type of comparison among all teams.

2023 is reasonably true — team currently has the 5th most cap space available of all teams for that season when taking into account a full roster (I.e. assigning minimum contracts until a team gets to 53 players signed). But that doesn’t reflect the Trent Brown deal. Notable FAs after 2022 include Harris, Wynn, McCourty, Meyers, Agholor, Slater.

That's a terrible way of putting it because it assumes carryover of every currently unspent dollar from year to year. There are no players under contract in 2025, so of course they'll have a ton of cap room in 2026. They'd literally be carrying over the entire 2025 cap.

(McCourty's 2025 dead money will almost certainly hit the cap sooner than 2025. This year's draft picks will be under contract in 2025, and Mac Jones will too assuming his 5th year option is picked up.)

No for me. Let's hold the course. The young LB types have to step up. Hopefully we sign Flowers and Hicks, draft a DT, LB, CB and WR.

I’m hoping for a trade down and fill a few needs that way rather than take a player at 21, so no. I do think this will be stocking up on linemen, particularly on offense, and want a few more picks.
