If we snagged Andersen, Muma and picked up Leighton in FA, oh boy. All tall, rangy, big and fast. Don’t know how much the risk is worth with Leighton’s health, but that would be one heck of a complete overhaul of the LB corp. It would alllllmost help me get over missing out on Chenal.

I like the trades. This draft is shallow at the top, but deeper in the middle, so the more picks there, the better.

Always appreciate someone to takes the time to do these things. I really enjoy then

Enough with the nice talk. I'm fine with picking a CB first and personally I'd take Elam first as well. However I can't imagine spending a HIGH second round pick who has a WORSE 3 cone time than 2 of the top 340+ NT, your lead footed QB, AND the OT prospect you drafted NEXT. Good god man, what are you thinking. I don't care how fast he is, that short area quickness score was positively GLACIAL. In the 4th or 5th maybe but in the 30's NO F$CKING WAY!

On the other hand I LOVE the Anderson and Muma picks. Both are binkies of mine and I'd rather have Anderson in the third or 4h than Lloyd in the first.

Here's the thing My first goal in this draft is to find another NT/DT we can match Barmore with and terrorize fronts all year. These players come at a very limited part of the population. There are only so many 6'4+ 330+ athletes on this planet compared to the number of 5'10-6'-3 humans who are athletes and can play CB or WR. In this year's draft I think there are only 2 of the former. Davis and Jones. There is no chance for Davis now. and it looks like the Jones secret is out as well. But if there is a chance to grab one of these players it needs to be done.

Bedard had both going in the top 17 in his mock, with us picking up Lloyd the kid is supposed to be Micah Parsons-lite in this draft, so I don't hate it, but I think the need of the DL and CB supercede a too LB

I would have traded down further with 38 and drafted a wr maybe around mid 50s . No point spending 38 on Moore . We can double dip on WR in mid 50s and late 80s.

I agree with everything aside from corner early,
BB has shown time after time he can find talent at corner under rocks.
I say DL LB and WR are by far the biggest needs and I would take at least two of each.

I don't have a clue about the draft and don't follow college football. I rely on you guys and for that I thank you.
In the past I had gotten to the point of completely ignoring the Pats draft until it was done, then read about their picks post facto.
There were too many trade downs, head scratchers, no names, and apparent overdrafts that it was disappointing.
We also picked so low in the order that you had to wait to the very end, only to watch them trade out of the round.
It was like they were trying to be clever by picking some head scratcher or someone that was projected to go much later.
The media was like, "It's Belichick, so it must be brilliant."

Recently, things have changed and apparently for the better. I hope this trend continues. Name players in their obvious range of order.
Last year my prediction was a trade down to lower in the first and select Barmore. I'm not sure if they were brilliant or lucky to have Mac drop to them, but the trade up in the second to get Barmore really was icing on the cake for me. Everything after that was gravy.

As I said before, getting Mac at 15 was positive karma for all the **** the league has stacked on the Pats over the years trying to tilt the scales against them.

Last year I did not predict Jones falling to the Patriots at 15, and then I was afraid the Patriots coaches would not select him even if he was there. I was not in favor of Barmore because the video I had seen of him showed me a lazy player. I was dead wrong!

I will concede that if Moore fails to drastically improve his 3-cone time at this Pro Day under 7.00, I will drop him and look elsewhere for either DT Jones or WR Watson. Moore easily got off press coverage at the Senior Bowl and that showed me good short-area quickness. Moore could also fill the X receiver, not just the slot. Next Mock Draft will drop the 1st week of April. Pro Days will be done.

Jones? yes but he will be gone. I like your proposal. It would be nice to consider Chenal from Wisconsin too. Chenal in the first, a WR in the second (few to name like Metchie, Moore, Watson) and Muma in the third round.

In FA Love to have Bobby Wagner but he will cost. He would change our whole defense. Casey Hayward makes sense as an experience CB when we loose Jackson. Cheaper BB type FA.
Can we get Chandler Jones back? If not Tre Flowers? One of those two. Knows the system. Can add pass rush.

I am for trading our bust WR Harry to AZ for their bust WR Isabella for CAP reasons. Why?....... why not. Can cut him in camp if he rots. If we cut Harry in camp their will be BB Draft repercussions.

Trade for Robbie Anderson no doubt.

Resign Trent Brown for cryin out loud!

AND THE TRADE OF THE DAY: Send Agholor back to Las Vegas as he had great chemistry with Carr, for Clelin Ferrell DE who is a better run defender with great size and length. He was Drafted as a square peg in a round hole as an edge rusher and that is not him. He is stout on the run but needs new scenery. He can get better as a pass rusher but BB likes those who can protect the end. He is from a Military family and BB likes that. The Raiders are seeking a WR with speed....why not part II.

Obviously, I approve of the trade-downs… But… There absolutely, positively MUST be a pass-rushing Defensive End in there SOMEWHERE.

Oh yeah one more thing: NO DAM SAFTETIES!!!

I agree about a pass rusher. The guy that makes a lot of sense for us is hall of Houston. His tape shows him constantly in the backfield all season long! Yet, he can also stop the run as a 5 technique.

Why in the world would I want a 5-tech for? That’s so pre-2012…

Because he can also drop inside on passing downs. Constantly in the backfield disrupting things.

Watch his tape. This is the guy we need opposite judon.
