Monday starts the Legal Tampering period where teams and players can exchange proposals and essentially agree upon new contracts that can't be executed until Thursday, the offiical start of the NFL's new year.

Interesting concept in the article: draft WR Harrison at #3, and QB McCarthy with the 2nd pick at #34. I just don't think that's realistic though; McCarthy will be long gone before that . . . then what?


As far as those free agency projections go, that would be awesome if the Pats could make all those signings come true. However, it sounds more like a wish list than a realistic projection. There are 31 other teams competing for those same players.
