Re: KC blew the game...colts should have lost their third in a row

The Chiefs are one of those bad teams that have NO OFFENSE!

Re: KC blew the game...colts should have lost their third in a row

Too bad, I was rooting for the stinky Chiefs. Otherwise Jags would be one game behind Colts. Sucks. Falcons is too easy for them next week.

Re: KC blew the game...colts should have lost their third in a row

According to wikipedia, rules were changed in 2006 to include grabbing just the jersey in that fashion, not just the shoulder pads as the announcers said.

I think Polian just edited that rule on Wiki...

Re: Colts win 13-10 (merged)

Let's be a little fair.

Manning had a bad game overall, but he did complete the passes down the stretch on the final drive to win the game.

That's what we would say when Brady had a weaker-than-average game and the Pats won a close one anyway.

But remember, Peytons a system QB. ITS THE CHEIFS!!!!

I agree with you. Manning had an awful game, but in the end he pulled victory from the jaws of defeat. It seems that the win by the Patriots against the Colts two weeks ago has set the Colts into a downward spiral. The injuries situation is a part of it, but for those of us who have seen first hand how the Patriots have not only dealt with but won with far more devastating season-long injuries, the issue is not injuries but lack of adapting to changes in personnel on the field (Reggie Wayne was emerging as Peyton's number one receiver *before* the aging Harrison went down anyway). But in the end Peyton led his team down the field this afternoon, good for him! I felt this would happen when Hermy the dentist elected to punt the ball back to the Colts rather than going for it. Makes you realize how fortunate we are to have a head coach in BB. Perhaps the NFL should give Hermy the dentist a Christmas gift of the confiscated Patriots tapes -- he obviously needs all the help he can get. Hermy the Hapless lost the game for the Chiefs.

Re: Colts win 13-10 (merged)

I didn't see the game, but apparently the saintification of Vinitieri continues as well. He was 2-4 (50%) with a long of 27 yards, yet the nfl.com game summary named him "player of the game". Good grief...

Re: KC blew the game...colts should have lost their third in a row

I can't wait to hear the "Peyton was so valliant" blather from the mediots.

The reality: The Colts barely beat a BAD KC team at home with their fake crowd noise and lousy officiating on a field goal. How the mighty have fallen

I would have thought anyone with Sooner in their name would be in hiding today.

Re: Colts win 13-10 (merged)

Even an ugly win is a win. The Colts lucked out in facing a very bad looking Chiefs team though.

I would not say victory from jaws of defeat -- the last drive was in a tie game. But Indy did strap them on when they needed too ... despite looking awful all game.

Re: Colts win 13-10 (merged)

I have a feeling Colts bow out to Pitt at Hines before we ever see them in the playoffs.

When is Indy going to be called for penalties like the rest of the league?

They were called for a whopping 2 penalties for 10 yards.........

In fact.....The Colts are now the least penalized team in the NFL.

I guess they just play clean football......

For that the Colts and Steelers will each have to lose 1 of their remaining 6. Best shot of the Colts losing is probably the Jags now that Garrard is back. Pittsburgh has to deal with us, but they also apparently need to get past the JETS today...

Indy Star fans were even saying today that facing a competent O they'd have been down a couple of scores at halftime today. And right now down three or tied is about all they can possibly manage to come back from.

I thought the KC D overplayed the blitz downt he stretch today. And the O wouldn't take the training wheels off Croyle and Holmes just couldn't get up enough of a head of steam to get outside the Colts D for yardage.

Clark and Manning are still out of synch and I wonder if the concussion isn't still an issue with him. They missed Freeney on D today, Croyle had all day at times but sailed a couple. Against a solid O they will be in real trouble.

It was even WORSE than the Patriots game...they actually tackled and grabbed with two hands from BEHIND every KC rusher who broke through....really disgusting

I didn't see the game but I have noted here several times that the Colt offensive linemen are exceptionally good at holding/tackling defensive players but make it look like clean blocking.

They are so good at it, I would not mind seeing the Patriots employ this kind of blocking but I know we would get called for it.......

Did anyone else hear the announcer praise Peyton Manning's great play in recovering his own fumble!?!?!

When will the ballwashing go away, it's getting pathetic at this point.

Both look like crap. I would say the colts are worse.

The Legend of Peyton grows week by week - yet again he's shown what an incredible leader he is willing a way for his team to win, when he was without all his offensive weapons (including himself).

Anyone can win 47-0. True leaders find ways to win 13-10 against 4-6 teams.

Re: Who is more sloppy? Colts or chiefs

COLTS SUCK!!! But not to worry they don't see our posts and feel bad (cause they know), they have the media's warm and positive nipple to suck on and feel nice and warm about themselves.
