OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

You think the main board is over it’s Brady PTSD? I don’t.

The main takeaway is: they were right all along. The Patriots had no chance to win in 2020 or 2021 (ummm....?) so Brady wouldn't have made a lick of difference. Now those desperate Bucs are going to suffer for their pyrrhic victory because they've DESTROYED their cap and team chemistry forever while the Patriots are in an enviable position with all those young, cheap assets, draft picks galore, and their QB for the next 45 years.

Bill. Wins.

What do you think of Judge as OC?

Pats were not a Super Bowl team with Brady in 2019 or 20 but they're in LA right now if they had him. I have no doubt at all about that.

Oh well.

3 years no playoff wins and the team has cratered the last month of the season. This is a petty big year for Bill IMO.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Patriots have a new HC at the start of the 2024 season. Maybe sooner than that if this season goes poorly.

Right in line with everything I despise about Bill’s desire to maintain his echo chamber at all costs.
Alex was right when he said Bill has not evolved. Never happening IMO.

That part is unsettling, if it really was his wife's and not his decision. She should have recognized what he was about to accomplish and let him pursue that for as long as he could.
This is where I'll just say that women and men think differently, and leave it there.

Anyone remember this email from Deflategate? Brady wrote this about Manning...well, look at the date and the timeframe.

7 years is November 1, 2021
8 years is November 1, 2022

If you take this at face value - and it's the only actual evidence of Tom discussing this privately rather than all of the public comments - this all lines up perfectly. Either 2021 or 2022 would be his final season. The "7 or 8 years" doesn't seem like some random guess in this context.

What a final chapter it was. 4 more rings with the last one coming in the NFC. Would would have ever predicted that?

I think it's time for you to get over it all. He's retired. If you're a Bucs fan then go to their forum and post. This is a Patriots forum.

I would further add, financially successful women think differently from less successful women.

Giselle is worth over 400 mil and Brady 250 mil. My brother and I both make good money but both our wives make more than us. I know where Brady is coming from.
