yeah I feel like the percentage argument is a poor one and I don't know why people keep using it. is the endgame here for black coaches to get a fair shot or to have some arbitary percentage of black coaches for it to be acceptable.

if we start going down that road, whats the percentage of asian or hispanic coaches/players and why isn't it representative of the entire population.
Percentage quotas aren't the answer but there's obviously something wrong with who winds up not getting hired where everything but race is always the explained as the decider.

The major question for me is where does this lead, legally. It does not seem to be associated with the charges of discrimination based on race.

Wouldn't Ross have offered money to any HC to tank for a crack at a top draft choice? If so, is this fraud? What is the expectation of fans when they buy a ticket or seat license or luxury box? What is a team's responsibility and what is the NFL's responsibility?

Is it okay to pay a coach a bonus in the situation of the Colts who had a season called "Suck For Luck?" Everyone knew the Colts were tanking after Manning left to draft Andrew Luck. The fans were actively rooting for losses. They may not have liked it but they understood what was at stake. If the Colts situation was legal, why not reward the players for fumbles, missed tackles, interceptions that lead to losses?

I'd love to see Miami fans and corporate luxury box holders demand their money back in court.

I wouldn't be surprised if the lawsuit is eventually thrown out, or parts of it declared irrelevant.

But as Flores himself said, the point of all this was to get it all out in the open rather than get buried in the NFL's kangaroo court of arbitration.

Insult? Calling you The Great White Hope is an insult? I'm complementing you for the good fight you've embarked on.

Andy vs Ali
Well you should because I your argument to “duh, I’m not responding” because you know you are wrong.

But ultimately we know all you are trying to do is respond to the facts you can dispute by calling me a racist, again, a truly despicable statement about YOU.

Why? Race isn’t a decider.

I find him interesting since he doesn't follow the approved narrative. Not sure why a black journalist is the 'worst perspective'.
Has nothing to do with him being black. I'm referring to all of his past takes

Whitlock is the worst perspective you can get. Lol my opinion of course if you're a fan kudos to you
Whitlock looks past the surface and the “presumed facts”. Whatever conclusion that leads him to is only as good as it is, but going deeper certainly is better than not. TJ Moe’s comments were insightful.

You keep on repeating that I called you a racist. Please show me where I did that or STFU.

And who is "we know?" Are there other Andy's on the forum? I thought you were one of a kind.

Calling Whitlock a journalist is your first mistake.

Read your posts, it obvious. As soon as you were faced with facts you cannot refute, the racists tropes started.
At least be man enough to be honest about it.

As always, you've got nothing. More blah blah blah from Andy.

I watch these things from the other side of the Atlantic. And I am sad and worried at the same time. In the last 15 years US public debate has gone completely out of control. On race, gender, identity politics, America is losing its mind. And its soul.

Maybe you already know this. He was a Giants player. I would listen to this. And start thinking if, maybe, there is not something that has gone too far.

I got facts, you have your head buried between your knees hiding from them while tossing personal attacks. You lose. Again.

Why he worked as a writer at newspapers for many years. Did you listen to what he said or just a knee jerk reaction, if you did listen what specific part were incorrect.

Of course, but it's still an acknowledgment that there's a problem, which is obvious.

Flores attorneys not buying the statement since they came out with one themselves calling him out.
I don't understand what Flores is really aiming at here? It seems everyone is a liar and part of the problem. At some point you have to start to make bridges instead of blowing them up.

this is interesting

There are attempts to silence opinions for political purposes. Currently there is a need to foster racial division due to an upcoming election. This group is trying to mobilize voters to go to the polls in a difficult environment.

Identity politics is rampant and it often hurts those it purports to help, but is really just using, the most.

Dolphins hire minority HC to replace Flores.
4/30 now minority with 2 open spots.

No you questioned me describing him as a journalist. What part of his analysis do you think is incorrect?
Or are you just dismissing him since he doesn't follow the preferred narrative?
