Semi OT: Flores suing NFL and NYG. Texts from Bill involved in the suit.

Welp anyone wanting Flores back can kiss that goodbye. Flores now in Mangina territory with him dragging Bill into this

So they satisfied the Rooney rule.
Hahaha
Yea, that's the entire point of the lawsuit. They only interviewed him to satisfy the Rooney rule. It was a sham interview since decision was already made.
Glad to see you're finally catching up after 38 pages.

Draft picks? Those owners should be forced to sell if it is proven true
problem is they (owners) are a self governing entity. No way they are going to hold another owner accountable on this issue because i would say 90% of the franchises have skirted the Rooney Rule in one way or another.

They should be able to conduct interviews anyway they see fit. If a team wants to exclude somebody on the basis of color and not ability. And operate the team like a bunch of Jack asses, Then the team won't be very good in the end. It's the owner's team. The Rooney rule is PC dog sh!t.
Except that being a billionaire football team owner does NOT exempt anyone from federal law (ie: discriminating/excluding somebody from an interview on the basis of color)...nor does it excuse anyone from being a vile POS!!!

Every time I tune in to SNL I don't laugh. Maybe I was spoiled by the early days.
I'm 35 and I yearn for 90's SNL.. I haven't cared about it for a long time, forget it's on most of the time.

You're hopelessly confused about this board and how it works. Deus responded to my post on Steve B. versus Flores and I responded that Flores is the more qualified one. That's how it works.

I never wrote a single word about Pederson.
You and Andy are clogging this thread about Flores over some dumb disagreement about him not understanding one of your posts. Give it a rest. It's Andy. He won't stop until he gets the last word in no matter how wrong he is. You won. We all see it.

it's getting bigger....

Would love to see a class action suit against the NFL for game fixing by a bunch of gamblers.

Actually it should be easy to prove. He wasn't getting $100K in cash that would have to be reported ot the IRS. If he has check for $100K or multiple ones, the writer of said check has to explain what it is for if it is over and above his contract salary...
That's why you pay in Bitcoin:ninja:

WHAT’S DUNGY GOTTA SAY?

…BRING HIM UP HERE

I remember that episode.

Mike threw his briefcase on the floor and the fraud suddenly turned his totally-fine neck
When I was a churlish youth I once pulled that stunt in real life.

A co-worker complained excessively about back pain, so one day I 'accidentally' dropped a quarter to see if his move was to bend over and pick it up.

He bent half ways, we locked eyes, and from that point on, the back pain complaints almost totally ceased.

I regret doing it these days, but like it or not, it had the desired effect.

And, overall, he seemed to figure out most of us thought he was an acting like an ass and he began to be more likable after that.

The lawyers seemed really confident and aggressive while Flores somewhat was apprehensive. Odd
not odd, he has put himself in the eye of the storm. We shouldn't expect polished answers. He's never been a PR guy. His first head coach conference was similar.

And the Rooney rule is not a law. The only place that can act on the rule is the NFL. The Broncos and Giants met it so end of story. I see this part as trying to inflate a case against Miami that does not seem to have any evidence to support it yet. I hereby christen this inflategate

Yes, after Belichick's text message went out. Again you keep missing the point...
Also people seem to think its okay to bring someone in for an interview if you don't consider them a serious candidate. Then they want them to thank them for the practice round. The Rooney Rule, like most political regulations, fail in execution. This time it's the owners on the bubble.

This is the Rooney rule in a nutshell. It is a checkbox and it has been met by the Giants and Broncos.
