Speculation: McDaniels to the Raiders nearly done. [Confirmed DONE1/31/22]

I use the ignore function. I used it on him. But you do realize we then read the posts responding to him, right? And that goes for every ignored poster we ignore.
I agree. This site needs a better ignore feature where you don't see the responses.
UT over at Patriots Planet has an awesome ghosting feature that when you ignore someone they are gone. No response. Nothing. It's awesome. Perhaps @Ian can ask him what software he uses.

Same thing happened to me. I’m glad he’s gone.

Now you’re shifting arguments. You do realize that wasn’t the answer you gave before, don’t you?
I haven't "shifted" my argument. I expanded it. And yes, it was things I said. You just choose to ignore them. They all point to the fact that your posts were off topic. You just can't handle that.

Anytime we loose coaches I get upset. But the truth is, we're not the only team who can develop great coaching. In fact, being objective, JMD is not some sort of genius. He's just been in a very stable organization with HOF HC and GOAT.
I believe it'd be a good thing to get new offensive blood and perspective on this team. The only thing to concern is if it changes too much of the foundation that Mac has built.

Not that I want to get into this publicly, but I had asked him to dial it back with his repeated viewpoints and obviously there was a continuing issue that also included referencing other posters in a derogatory way, which also just fueled more disagreements. I understand and respect his opinion regarding the issues on offense, and he hasn't been censored or banned. However, he was suspended for 7 days because it felt like he needed a bit of a break and hopefully a chance to reset. Hopefully, when he returns in a few days, things will be a little better.

Agreed. And consistency is HUGE IMO for a young QB. I just hope whoever takes over has experience in the system and Mac doesn't miss a beat.

How annoying it was to read his repeated viewpoints over and over and over and over and over and over. He had valid points but c'mon...enough is enough. 7 days suspended is a good plan.

Well, this team has been in contention nearly every year for a very long time, and it wasn’t all Tom. It was in contention last year, and it wasn’t all because of Bill. Everyone is posting about the inner workings of the organization like they are there. I swear some of the reporters/twitter guys get material from this forum. Without a doubt. Mayo/Steve situation is just stupid. Players need clarity. If the only reason Steve is calling plays is because Bill said to himself “I gotta take care of jr.” knowing damn well it would harm this team, then I’ll jump into the pit with you. I just don’t think that is the case. I think the organization is definitely run like a tight knit group of like minded individuals who know their role and do their jobs. When it stops working, hopefully John can convince his ol man to pull the trigger.

Again, Bills FO over his tenure has been plucked clean year in and year out. Most coaching staffs last 3 maybe 5 years before they are sent packing? I think the way he operates is with the path of least resistance, and less about trying to take care of people he cares about. I could be wrong, and if I am, I hope something is done about it. I just haven’t seen any definitive proof that is what’s going on.
This isn't about the Patriots.

It's about the entire league.

Press conference is currently streaming on YouTube

Good luck Josh ! I hope he succeeds this time. It kinda sucks for us, let’s see what BB will do. I am a bit surprised the Pats didn’t fight harder to keep him .

Appreciate all the work he put in here. Loved the way him and his family took so well to the community.

To me his best called game will always he the Baltimore down by 14x2 game.

Good luck, except when you play the Pats next year. Its been a good ride.

Also looking forward to the journey to find a new one who gels with Mac.

Bit late to the party but thank god he is gone. Time for some new ideas of offense.

Might actually have a chance of scoring when we hit the RZ now.

You don't think the last 2 years had something to do with Cam Newton and a rookie leading the offense?

Well that didn't take long.

And that pre-interview admission Saturday from McDaniels, who joined the Patriots as a personnel assistant in 2001 and had a front-row seat for the Tuck Rule game that postseason?

"He looked me in the eye and he said, 'It was a fumble,'" Davis said, laughing. "So, Raider Nation, if you're worried, he's already come over to the Dark Side."

McDaniels grinned.

"True story," he said.

Had to lick the owners nut sac to get the job…sad…
