OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Bucs have had drop problems both years Brady has been there. It seems to be the worst against Rams and Saints.
It was noticeable.

According to the radio announcer it was cold though, like 55 degrees. :)

**** this guy.

You missed the call? Okay - it happens. That doesn’t “rise to the level” of roughing the passer? A helmet to helmet hit (which is automatic)? What a lying sack of ****.

Shawn Hochuli, just like his old man, thinks he's who everyone pays to see.

I love him but Gronk has been unclutch against the Rams this year. Dropped a huge deep pass in week 3 on 3rd down that would have put the Bucs inside the 30 while the score was 0-0. And yesterday dropped that huge 3rd while the Bucs were driving on the first drive.

But in the end, we knew the Bucs O would have struggles and it came down to the inability of Bowles to stop Stafford.

It's funny that we'd discuss Manning and Rodgers but not some of the younger QBs that we're seeing now. I know Manning's a POS and Rodgers acts like one.

I'd take your guy Mahomes over both of them.

Some of the other young QBs aren't too shabby either. Allen and Burrow have played well. Who knows, some day one of the young QBs may surpass what Rodgers and Manning have done.

Mahomes is at another level. He's off to a quick start and isn't letting up.
I do believe Mahomes will be top five (Can I pray #1?) QB when all is said and done. Obviously I can't put him there yet as he's only 26 and still has a decade plus to go.

Stafford is the key to the Rams going forward.

If he plays like an elite QB (Which I believe he is) they will be so tough to stop on offense.

Their pass defense seems to struggle. And I think they can possibly get away with that against SF. But not against AFC foe. Pending they make the SB.

I wonder if Gronk will retire this offseason? He's won everything possible. He's been an all pro. First ballot HOFer. Top 3 TE ever.

Rams are winning the SB.

I would love SF vs Cindy in the SB
that’s what I’m hoping for. Burrow is the only one of this new generation of qb’s I actually like. I’m expecting the Bengals to just roll over though. amazing how the #1 seed gets knocked out both years Mahomes is #2 seed so he doesn’t have to go on the road

Morning hot takes: Fire McDermott and Brady walks.

He could come back and get another 13 wins and 40 TDs and make one last run but I think he should hang them up. It's enough stress now.

yeah I’m starting to lean that way. I had zero fun watching this season with the injuries galore and the whole MVP thing. I wish I could still get joy out of watching the games but they’re nonstop stress

BS. He should come back for one last year which is frankly what he basically promised with his contract extension. Next year is real money not some fake year.

I am starting to ask myself if the relationship between Arians and Brady is as good as they try to make it look like. I wouldn’t be surprised if Brady think Arians is a moron and Brady has to do everything himself to make the team ready to play. when you look Arians on the sideline during a game, it looks like he just watching and he is doing nothing.

The retiring conversation began just before the playoffs. Early this month Brady stated that he wanted to be a Buccaneers for many years. I wouldn’t be shock if the retirement talk is a power play to get rid of Arians.

This is literally what Zolak thinks. And also what Bert Breer has said.

Whatever their relationship, I think they can make it work for another year.

Really the problem this year were injuries. I don't recall so many injuries to so many starters ever.

They almost made it to the NFCC game and that is quite an accomplishment.

It is clear as day that the main problem in Tampa is the coaching not the players.

Bowles has absolutely no clue what is doing. He has been doing weird stuff all year. Arians is along for the ride he has absolutely no control of this team.

Brady carried this team for two years now. Even at full strength they wouldn’t sniff 8 wins without him.

i wouldn’t be surprised that after Godwin injury Brady wanted to revamp this offense and Arians didn’t. It was painful to see the contrast between a McKvay offense and an Arians offense. McKvay scheme thing up to make it easy on the QB. I don’t have enough finger to count the time where à Rams receiver was wide open. In an Arians offense nothing is scheme. It’s all on the receiver to win his one on one and on the QB to make the throws.

Come on, it's just one more year.

After next season, me and what seems like half this board are going to be moving on as avid fans. I just can't stand the lack of integrity in the game. The ref calling taunting cause his feelings were hurt due to his own huge mistake is what this league has come to.
