OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

As much as I'm not a fan of Mahomes, Kyler is really a poor poor man's version of Mahomes. One thing I can say about Mahomes, when he gets the accolades, the probowls and MVps, he deserves it.

Kyler gots tons of accolades and 2 probowls he didn't deserve.

Mahomes problem is going off script. Defenses want nothing more than for him to opt out of the check down and start improvising. For every highlight play you see on SportsCenter, there are many throwaways and negative plays in between. If Mahomes stays disciplined and either throws to the first read or gets rid of the ball within 3 seconds, he’s great. That’s when the defense softens up and he can deliver a haymaker.

Murray just isn’t capable of being a great QB. He’s foremost a run-and-chuck guy. And height matters. He needs to run all over the place just to get the spacing to throw over linemen.

There’s also been a lot of chatter about Murray’s lacking leadership. Carson Palmer has brought it up, and I assume he’s still plugged into the Cardinals with Bidwell and Keim. Murray crumbles under adversity and it’s obvious from his on-field antics he points fingers and sulks.

Mahomes can win from the pocket. Murray absolutely needs a play to breakdown to win.

Those of you who watched Murray last night may now understand why I continue to say that I'd give Isabella a chance, even after this stint in Arizona, and have wanted to swap him for Harry since just about day one. Murray struggles to see from the pocket, and Isabella's only 5'9".

Murray also breaks the pocket way too soon. And he often runs into trouble when trying to run out of trouble, because he doesn't see even the short field of his immediate surroundings well enough.

The Bucs are gonna need all hands on deck for this one! If Tampa can survive this barn burner with the Rams I think they go on to win the whole thing!

They pass LA just hand them the super bowl
Hopefully Henson and Grayson play as well they’ll need SMB too

It’s not just talk on 98.5 because otherwise I wouldn’t bring it up, they actually brought it up first a couple weeks ago and are mentioning it again now BECAUSE there are more whispers about it from some ESPN people, that Brady is trying to leverage Arians out after the season because he thinks he’s an idiot and Brady feels he’s the one who needs to get the whole team prepared every week which he’d rather not have to do.

Leave aside your opinions on Felger and amass. Jimmy Stewart has a guy in Brady’s camp. Like it’s that simple. No one knows who but he does, he had stuff on the 2017/2018 drama and called Brady to the Bucs AND said he wanted the 49ers but the 49ers said no well before that all came out.

Who does he want as HC?

I mean 90% of us have said Arians is an idiot

This is idiotic even if Arians is a buffoon. I don't buy it at all.

Bucs have started to go no huddle a bit this year. That is one way to make the D scheme to be a little more Vanilla. Of course, injuries make going no huddle a little harder. Hopefully, the lineman are healthy enough to play Sunday.

Put up 7 fast with a well executive script and then try and tire the D out a bit and stay within a score until the end where Stafford will puke on himself. Really looking forward to basically all the wildcard games. Bills win! SF win! TEN win! TB win!

Thats becuase Brady is calling play son the fly. Some of the OC's playcalls have me scratching my head.

Poor matchup for the Bucs. This is a game where they need Godwin and AB. Could be the end of the line for Brady. Rams won the last 2 matchup handily.

Last two were both in LA, last year the team was struggling to find itself and this year half the defense and Gronk died on the field and AB wasn’t playing either so no change in that department. It’s not the same situation in Tampa.

Must of added 10 people on ignore in the 'who you rooting for now' thread. Some cool old dudes that love NE but are reasonable and then just below a list of absolute clown show trolls.

Stewart has been full of **** on a lot more Brady stuff than he's ever even been close to being right on.
