NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Official 49ers @ Cowboys Playoff Thread

[...]

Second side note, Jerry Jones building the dumbest stadium in the NFL cost his team a drive. I've said for years that stupid window blinds teams in Dallas and it's ****ing horrendous and I'm glad Jerry was able to come out of his coffin today to watch his team get sabotaged by his billion dollar toy.

I was talking about this earlier today when a Cowboys drive got halted towards the end of the first half because the sun was setting in the west, and the open concourse / glass wall allowed the sun's beams into the middle of the field. So stupid.

What is this, Stonehenge?

Well they put more time in the clock at the beginning of the drive. The 4th and 1 one play by SF was at 38s and suddenly when the cowboys took the ball there was 40s on the clock

Did you watch Jimmy G vs the Rams??

mac hasn’t shown me he is clutch at all. Jimmy is not elite he is good for a **** play a game but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get SF to the NFCCG
It’s really weird I am not considering Jimmy G like a great QB. He seems to make a mistake in critical moment every time and Shanahan tries to get rid of him yet SF is like 33-15 when he plays and 8-25 when he doesn’t

How 'bout them Cowboys? :)

Dak Prescot is the most over-rated and overpaid QB in the game.

The ending of this game was a Mike McCarthy special. Most overrated head coach in the NFL. He probably cost Aaron Rodgers a Super Bowl appearance or two, if not another win.

Not clutch? Mac got the Pats within FG range late in the 4th v. Tampa Bay. He engineered a game winning drive against Houston. He can only do what he has an opportunity to do.

By the way, what do Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Jimmy G all have in common? They all watched the game basically as redshirts in their rookie years, while Mac started and played almost all of the snaps in all 17 games. Rodgers and Garapollo then went on to sit a few more years.

Rodgers is one of the all time greats that should have more super bowls than he has. Same thing with Brees. In Rodgers case, it was coaching that probably cost him. Cant' say that about Brees though.

Twice in key situations near the end of the game JAG missed wide open receivers. Mac would complete those throws (once he got over the shock of seeing a wide open receiver).
Major failure failing to wait for his line shift to set causing a 5 yard possible game losing penalty on the QB sneak attempt. Mac > Jimmy Glass.

Mac made plenty of rookie mistakes which is understandable.

In his 8th year in the league, Jimmy is still making them.

Jerry Jones is a buffoon. Although, he is a brilliant business man. The stadium is worth billions and that doesn't count the practice facility up the road. The glare worked against him in yesterday's game. But, what if the other team was going in that direction? I can give examples of brilliance in economics as well as football failings.

LOL Steven A and Michael Irvin going at it this morning...

Are the Cowboys cursed?

Stephen A is right. Something always goes wrong for ‘dem Cowboys.

And this is a terrible look for Dak Prescott.
