I hope they can do better on this than last game. I was there, sitting below the lighthouse, and from that perspective it seemed to me on several plays they were more concerned about hanging back to contain Allen than in rushing to get pressure on him. Result was usually a long completion when someone finally got open.
I’d rather see them pin their ears back and go all out to put pressure on him so he doesn’t have all the time in the world to keep checking down until someone gets open. Need to be disciplined rushing and win the individual battles, but just hanging back and watching to maintain contain cedes the line battle entirely.

For whatever reason this Pats team starts games very slow. I am hoping and expecting that to change tonight, and if it does we should be in for a good ballgame. I respect Buffalo’s QB and wings. I hate their coach.

Starting fast yes but more importantly IMPOSE physicality from play 1, INSTALL fear (& make them afraid to lose).

Waiting for Russini to tweet "Here's a copy of Buffalo's game plan and offensive script for their opening drive tonight, they feel this script will end in a touchdown for them and that this game plan will win them the game with ease. Additionally, Allen advised that he still has a bed-wetting problem, but is confident that the Patriots players will not bring this up tonight since he is very sensitive about it."
