For those who didn't see it - a late Festivus miracle:

That little gift could potentially set up a return by the Conference Championship - but that would require two playoff wins. I've enjoyed the ride but that feels like a long-shot at this point so for now, I'm going to enjoy whatever games we have while it lasts. Otherwise, I'm just hoping for them to make it insanely competitive and if they could at least knock out Buffalo this weekend, that would be amazing.

I'm not counting us out. Especially if the weather sucks again up there

Interested to see if there’s any chance of Barmore playing. You figure it may be a long shot… I am not expecting him to be practicing early in the week, but maybe he’d be practicing limited by late week? We’ll see.
Unfortunately I see him as pretty darn important this game. We’ll likely be cautious with our edge players due to Allen’s mobility, which makes generating interior pressure important. Barmore is clearly our best guy in that category.

Doubt Barmore plays. Maybe next week if the patriots win....which is highly unlikely they play like they have played against Miami, the bills, and the colts.

I saw this on social media and don't know if it is true, but it SOUNDS true:

The Patriots defense is 4th worst in the NFL in the 1st quarter. They are 2nd best in the NFL the rest of the game.

How can we avoid the crappy "feeling out" conservative starts?

I will be picking the bills. I think they are the better team with the better QB. That being said, I don't at all put it past this team to beat them and I love the opportunity. Will be a fun game.

If they just win 1 playoff game and then lose the next week, but that 1 win is knocking off Buffalo, I'll be exceptionally happy. Making the playoffs at all was unexpected for year 1 of the rebuild with a rookie QB, so grabbing a playoff win against the increasingly annoying Bills would be too sweet.

If they do get that win, it'd most likely mean the week 2 is a game against the Titans, who they definitely have a shot against. So an AFCCG appearance wouldn't be totally unlikely. But again - just that 1 win would be amazing.

Need to control the game early. Run the ball well, mix in PA passes and score TD’s, not settle for field goals.

CB’s other than JC are going to get picked on so they better be ready. JC better be ready because Allen will go to Diggs in critical moments.

Can’t let Josh run around like last time.

I do not want to see the dreaded “mush rush” or as I like to call it “fake rushing” as Allen will have all day and pick them apart.

GREAT POST. What is with the crappy starts? I wish I understood it too. Maybe we will eliminate that strategy in the playoffs. Let's hope so.

The bye week messed up their mojo.

We have allowed a TD on the opponent's first drive of the game in:

Week 1: Miami
Week 5: @Houston
Week 7: @Los Angeles Chargers
Week 10: Cleveland
Week 16: Buffalo
Week 18: @Miami

33% of the time and there were a few other games where the opponent scored on the 2nd drive following a quick three and out!

Maddening!

I just hope we throw the ball down the field more and let Mac Jones sling it. Frustrating to watch that we only open it up when we are down double digits.

Get out of base the first ten plays.

Intercept Josh Allen. He will throw picks. The Bills have a tough road these playoffs even if they beat the Patriots.
It would be nice if JC, Devin et al. would catch the ball. Pats seem to have had an inordinate number of dropped potential picks lately.
