You know, use the same naming conventions that UK clubs use. Like how Liverpool is called Liverpool, Chelsea is called Chelsea, and Manchester is called Nonces.

Not meant to be sarcastic but I prefer dropping "Team" and simply branding themselves, "Washington Football". Kind of throwback or nostalgic.

Are you a liverpool fan by any chance? Also Uk Clubs do have nicknames. Manchester untied are the red devils, crystal palace are the eagles, liverpool are the Reds. They just aren't included in the actual name.
