THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Some interesting thoughts:

Thats a silly tweet from someone who does nothing else in life.

Williams had plenty opportunities over 3 years on the team - they moved him around all over the backfield until they benched him for an undersized PS player. While showing some flashes his calling card seems to be inconsistency & liability. Of course he should play in this game with everyone out but calling it a “tryout“ after 3 yrs where he did play mostly outside is quite demented.

As for Wade all of his snaps so far iirc were on the outside.

Id expect both Ross and Davis will be elevated but i would not be surprised if Bethel takes one of the slot spots..

Wanna see more of Dugger. Hopefully he’ll be good next week.

Let Uche and Wino get some snaps if it gets out of hand.

honestly I’m kinda looking ahead to the playoffs which I miss doing!

I'm not usually a fan of resting players but I think we have a few that could really use it. On offense I'd rest Meyers and Harris. On defense Barmore and Judon. I don't want us rusty in the playoffs so everyone else plays.

If we are winning in a blowout....try to improve Harry's trade value. Right now he is worth a small bag of doritos. If he has a good game....Party Size.

No rest for the wicked.

I thought if Buffalo loses to the Jets and we beat Miami we win the division? I don't think any of the 1pm games have any impact on what we're trying to get out of Sunday but I might be mistaken.
If the Patriots win and everybody above them loses, the Pats get the #1 seed and a bye and homefield throughout the playoffs. Unlikely.

But the key is the Jets-Bills game. Sean McDermott's sphincter will be so tightly clenched by the coin flip he will turn the Little Caesar's Bacon Wrapped Pizza he ate on Thursday into a diamond. Pizza! Pizza!

Why the need to take a potshot at Lazar? If you don't care for the guy, fine, but this is his job. What else would you rather him do with his life? It's his, not yours.

What a needless comment.

Bad stuff doesn’t always happen in Miami.

After that win I remember hearing the Miami DB mention that he watched hours and hours of tape on Troy Brown and he was never that far downfield. Fooled you.

That was also the game where the officials totally missed a Miami WR going out of bounds and gave them a chance to win it on a FG. They missed.

I think Mac will want to prove something in his home state, and after losing the opener to these guys.
I expect a battle, but I think we can win. 27-24
Also, BB has to find a way to sign JC. I'm sad he didn't work on that last offseason, or in season extension.
Without Jackson, our secondary will really be a risk next year. DMC is likely gone, Mills isn't a #1, we're either gambling on Wade or a rookie, or signing a big $ FA anyway - so put it on JC, and keep our guy home.
JC's worth a franchise tag.

How can we miss the playoffs if they won't go away. The Pats haven't missed the playoffs much in the last 2 decades.

Doritos are pretty bad so that's a fair trade for Harry.

After all the grand standing and gloating from Bills fans this year about how the AFC East is “theirs” for the indefinite future, blowing the division title in the final week of the season against the Jets would be a very Bills type of situation.

What happens if both the Bills and Pats lose to the Jets and Miami? Nuclear holocaust?

I don’t think a lot happens. The Bills stay the 4 seed most likely, the Pats have already clinched a playoff spot so they’d probably just fall from the 5 seed to the 6 or 7 seed.

I'm going to be highly disappointed if Harry is activated over Wilkerson

Good morning all, getting everyone ready for a Saturday and a trip to beautiful Miami....oh how I wish I was there soaking up the sun and sand!!!

You and me both Ash... dunno what the weather is like for you guys up north of me, but here in my corner of PA it's currently 8 degrees. Miami sounds great!!!!

If indoor practice I hope they cranked up the heat! Acclimatize! (I know it takes about sixteen days, but mentally acclimatize dang it!)
Glad someone mentioned this - I said the same thing before last year's game. I almost lost my mind last year when I found out they practiced outdoors in 20 degree weather a few days before the game (although they may have moved it indoors eventually that day). Heart rates are going to be waayyy higher for the same amount of effort going from very cold to warm. Thankfully, it looks like it's going to be cloudy, so it might not be as big of a deal, but adjusting to the humidity is a killer as well.

Never thought about this, but what do NFL indoor stadiums set their temps to? I wonder if that played a part in the Colts game sluggishness, especially in contrast to the previous Bills game (though that was 2 weeks prior).

Emotionally I agree. But it depends on how they'd have to activate Wilkerson (I've heard conflicting reports). Can they elevate him for free again, or are his two chances used up? If that's the case, and you get to reset those chances for the playoffs, it might be better to just suck it up for one more week with Harry rather than have to cut someone to move Wilkerson to the 53. Plus this is likely a run heavy gameplan for the Pats this week, so Harry's deficiencies are minimized.
