Christian Barmore the most double-teamed DT in the NFL?

Barmore was the steal of the draft. For all the complaints I had about BB the GM, he really nailed this draft. He got the second bet QB without having to move up. Jones looks like he will be the pats QB for the future. Now he just needs to prove that he has "it".

Barmore has been a beast! He is everything we saw in that national championship game. BTW, the two 4th rd picks that BB sent to Cincy to move up and grab him have played a combined 1 game so far.

Now BB the GM, needs to stick with this years draft strategy, DRAFT GUYS FROM ALABAMA!! At the very least only draft from the SEC. Move up to get the guys you want, stay away from any 2nd rd DBs.

He’s much better than Godawfulchaux
Does Godchaux get pushed around a lot or something? Hard to tell DT play from broadcast view, so I can't really comment, just asking.

Another BEAST LB coming out of Bama you guys might want to keep an eye on, he is only a sophomore! Leads the SEC in tackles and sacks!
Enjoy!

He looked pretty bad in weeks 1-3. He's looked better since then, IMO. Getting moved around less, anchoring better, getting off blocks.

He's gone from underwhelming/disappointing to a little below average, IMO. I was hoping for more (and still am), but he's fine IDL rotational depth for the time being. With any luck he may turn into a solid starter next to Barmore for the remainder of this season and next.

Barmore is a stud and high potential. Very glad this draft did the total opposite of what construction guys advocated for. Give Barmore all of Godchaux's snaps, and those who want to solicit the topic, I am obviously thrilled to go into a discourse back about the offense.

If we are going to dream up any current college player being paired up with Barmore, I’m going with Jordan Davis from Georgia. I can’t even imagine what BIll would be able to drawl up with Barmore, Judon and his classic big NT, who happens to be able to rush the passer in a very unique way for his size. I just know it would be dreamy to watch. About a month ago I was kind of complacent with finishing in the middle of the pack with the thoughts of maybe falling in a place to land him. Don’t think that’s gonna happen lanymore. Guys a beast (almost literally 360lbs). Maybe the best player in collage football.

No doubt he is a Beast, but he is also not an every down player. They play him on 1st and 2nd downs and then when it is 3rd down and a normally passing down, they rotate in another player. He really isn't know as a pass rusher, more of a guy that will require a double team that will in turn open up other guys to get a sack, and a run stopper.

For reference Davis has 2 sacks and 21 tackles. Anderson has 10 sacks and 65 tackles. Anderson just doesn't get the hype because he is a sophomore and it's on the best defense in the SEC. Davis is a senior and will be in the draft this year. Due to all the hype, and well deserved, he will go in the top 5 or 10.

Barmore is excellent and high potential. Play this guy all 3 downs, get him maximum snaps. Give him all Godchaux's snaps.

glad the ravens didnt grab Barmore

Real glad we did the opposite of fake experts here and got both Barmore and Mac. This was a good draft with Wolf and Groh involved. It will take years though to recover from 2013-2019 crappy drafts.

This draft by Wolf and Groh was excellent.

Glad we got Barmore despite fake experts saying this DT class was garbage and got Mac despite fake experts saying he had no arm and the myth he only made 50% of throws past his first read.

Is why I don't follow these so called draft experts and just see how it plays out. Half the guys they praise end up busts

Yup. Especially fake experts here who write essays but are consistently wrong. Seeing the same games/plays and always reaching the wrong conclusions.

Barmore's so good. A high potential stud.

Part of the reason why it's a waste of time to over-study the draft too early is a ton of good college players only show up in their last year before the draft. (see our top2 draft picks)

I have a 11 yo niece with some insecurity issues. Everything out of her mouth right now is either jumpy-like defensive or bringing someone else down. We had to spend a long day together recently, so we played a "game" where nobody could say bad things about others or they'd "lose points." I got to see a glimpse of what a potentially witty and awesome person she can become.

It's somethings some adults can do too. Challenge ourselves to go a full day without attacking opposing views, ridiculing other posters, or blasting the team staff.

That's a nice story. At the same time it's absolutely fair game to respond to unsolicited comments. And more often than not the initiating offenders have something easy to ridicule about.
