Nick Chubb test positive for COVID

I don't get the whole "two negative tests" thing for vaccinated players but not unvaccinated. If you're negative you're negative. Shouldn't really matter what your vaccination status is.

@Kontradiction if you are going to throw florida/california comparisons to support "libertarian" and "authoritarian", then I gotta come and say "what about it?"

Worldwide, lockdown measures were overwhelmengly more succesful than lax measures.

Countries with lax measures are in deep crisis, bc of ramifications of these choises. Not even talking economically only, but politically as well.

Im not going to get into pro-mandate or not. I do not agree with your position o "being free to choose" to the covid vaccine, but Ill leave it at that
What sort of “deep crisis” is Sweden in?

Again, I am not getting into this. It isn’t the proper forum. All I did was post a couple of facts to counter your argument. I didn’t twist myself into a pretzel or adhere to confirmation bias or whatever you want accuse me of doing to discredit my facts. This is why I have desire to get dragged into a political discussion here. It is an exercise in futility.
And yet you keep responding. Your math was guess work at best. You cannot tell me how many excess deaths Florida had because it didn’t go with the authoritarian approach. You can’t make a claim that people who died in recent months in Florida wouldn’t have died later on had we taken California’s measures. The difference in death rate of each state is not statistically significant. Meanwhile, California caused their people more economic harm than Florida did, lost more people to outbound migration, and is currently staring down a higher case rate per capita than Florida. You have no argument here. You know it. I know it. That’s why you keep saying that you’re bowing out. The economic damage that states did during extended lockdowns will last decades.

So you’re saying that I need to become Swedish?
yes ...but watch out for the authorities...if they spot you the first thing they'll say is Sven'd he get here?

Their PM resigned just today.

Other cabinet workers during their response, which did not work.

For Swedish standards, that's a pretty big one. For the World? Well, If even Sweden was affected by it, and they were -BY FAR- the most stable, imagine the other places were the lax approaches happened

I think hes pointing out the hypocrisy of requiring a vaccine that becomes not that effective at protecting people that are barely at risk of severe covid in a matter of a few months.

Additionally, with allegations coming out thay Pfizer test labs falsified data and then they turn around and give an EUA not based on clinical trials for young kids but flawed data models, tells you all you needed to know about the profit motivation to get these out to market as quick as possible, consequences be dammed. But what do I know
you lost me when you start with the 'allegations" and end with you treating them as fact. THAT's all we need to know about you and YOU don't know anything.

The fact is that the antis don't have a legal leg to stand on here. Probably don't have a moral one either unless they have an explicit religious objection. And right now the government's going really easy on them compared to the stuff they'd do a century ago to those refusing public health mandates, but that's another story.
There ARE no "religious" objections....unless one belongs to a cult, or the "church of the terminally stupid". That excuse also has no legal basis as NONE of the major and minor religious sect have posed any scriptural basis for not being vaccinated. A religious objection is just a ploy used by the politically motivated to dodge the issue of public safety.

What have I said that isn't true? And where did I call them fact except in your brain? Also, I doubt the British Medical Jourbal would say they have physical evidence of this including emails, pictures, documents, and recorded phone calls and publish that in their journal if they didn't have significant evidence. So show me where I'm wrong...

So, I'm reading Chubb may still be able to play? How come?

K, your comment that you are VERY pro-vax but anti-mandate confuses me. I can't seem to square the two views. You can't dismiss the FACT that the unvaccinated are MANY times more likely to catch the virus and spread it, than the unvaccinated. So how do you hope to end this madness when you would allow the unvaccinated to freely roam throughout our private and public domains.

K, business have both the right AND obligation to demand their employees to be vaccinated in the workplace. The same goes for government entities. Mandates have been effectively used throughout our history. I don't understand your pissiness about them now. While individual rights are important, they CAN'T supersede the health of the greater body of society. And individuals who lives in a SOCIETY have both rights AND obligations. A Society's obligations during a pandemic SHOULD supersede and individual's right not to protect the body by NOT getting vaccinated. I don't see the issue here. This SHOULD never have even been an issue, EXCEPT for politics, and that is sad.

....and of the issue of Chubb being out, I am more concerned about OUR RB's situation with both Harris and Stevenson on the concussion protocol. I think there is every chance Chubb will clear the covid protocol by Friiday and be on the field on Sunday. I can't say the same for our concussed RB's. We shall see

So, I'm reading Chubb may still be able to play? How come?

He has to test negative twice in 2 days....guessing he tested negative this morning.....so one more test to go.

The kid Johnson looked great a few weeks back, If Chubb out, they still have a solid RB

how about those that had Covid and have natural immunity and do not want to risk getting the vaccine?
