If OBJ is released by the Browns and is unclaimed, do you want him in NE on the cheap? (Update: Signed by Rams)

I hope he chooses NE. Watch this board erupt in excitement of this happens.

He’s about to either become a greatest steal in league history (signs with us), or a locker room cancer who some team will regret signing (doesn’t sign with us), according to 95% of the fans here.

I’d like to see him here, too, but come on, this isn’t Randy Moss in 2007. I honestly don’t even know if he makes an impact like Josh Gordon (briefly) a few years ago.

This is closer to the Le’Veon Bell “sweepstakes” last year or Richard Sherman this year than it is to a real elite player. This guy may still make a few big plays here or there, but he’s not some dominant talent.
I'm sure it's been mentioned in here but the Browns have been significantly more successful with him off the field than on the last few years.

He seemed to still be getting plenty of targets but it's almost like the Browns were hurting themselves by throwing it to OBJ. And it's not like Baker is terrible.

I hope he can catch 5 to 10 yd passes.

Not sure what the point of this ? joke is. Are you taking a shot at Mac and /or the 2021 offense by describing how Brady made a living for most of his career here?

BB signs him, does a Vulcan mind meld to extract all his Browns O knowledge and releases him next week.

That's my story and sticking with it, blue check mark be damned.

Idk about 95%... I think there is a solid 15% who will say he's a washed up locker room cancer if he does sign, but will also say BB is an idiot for not going all in if he doesn't.

Funny thing is they weren’t even throwing to him.

Pats don‘t have an open roster slot. Do they sign OBJ to the PS? And then activate him against the Browns?

I think OBJ is nuts but he's definitely more talented than any of our WRs. Agholor isn't cutting it. We need a deep threat player like OBJ to open up the field. This O won't get far into the playoffs counting on Bolden, Harris and Rham. Work it out Bill and don't over complicate play book for him. Let him run go routes and deep crossers and let Mac chug it. OBJ will get open. Ds need to start respecting 20+ yd passes or team won't go far. Imo

Randy Moss was a washed up diva when he came to New England. Am I suggesting that bringing in OBJ would lead to a similar outcome? No. Let’s not pretend Moss was lighting the world on fire before he came here either.

Not lighting the world on fire, but still demonstrating he had other worldly talent when motivated.
