Just as I love watching Brady but wanted to see him get sacked mercilessly when he played against us (and to be fair, it was a close enough matchup) - I will love watching Gilmore, but this week I hope the offense jukes him out of his shoes.

Both tall orders, I know.

Comments:

a.) I still think the Panther D is legit.

b.) I don't think CMC is playing...I own him in my main FFL...and I know how fragile that hammy is....been on all medical info like white on rice.

c.) Gilmore said that this game "meant a lot" to him....GOOD. I want Meyers to have his first NFL TD reception ON Gilmore!!! LFG!!!

I'm convinced we can beat anybody. We finally beat a good team in the Chargers all across the country. The Panthers game should be a W

Please, we're getting better but we can't beat the Rams, Arizona, Packers, Dallas, or even Tampa if we make the super bowl. We're not there yet.

We were a missed field goal away from beating Tampa, and lost in OT to Dallas. We're not there yet, but we're not in different worlds.

Why is Gilly saying it means, "a lot extra" to be facing NE?

Is he angry? If so, why?

Does he feel disrespected/devalued because they didn't meet his new money expectations/demands?

Does he feel he needs to prove something to Belichick because he has some kind if insecurity thing going? Really?

Yeah but I wouldn’t of been surprised if Brady drove them down the field for a game winning fg had the kick gone in.

Wouldn't have been surprised, sure, but it wasn't guaranteed. Brady just threw a pick 6 against the Saints in a similar situation, and he was having a much better day prior to that. And the point wasn't that we should have won, just that the gap they need to close to compete with those teams was not an insurmountable divide.

Gotta admit I laughed at 0:20. Smith's "poor tackling! Hahaaaa" - that was funnier than "ice up son"

The laugh after "poor tackling" was hilarious. And that was the story with Talib during his time in NE, he tapped out when the team needed him the most.

Smith should've been a Patriot in 2014. He said a storm prevented him from traveling to NE and Baltimore called him first. They gave him an offer he couldn't refuse. Him and Brady would've lit it up.

The possibility of Steve Smith and Emmanuel Sanders on the Pats in 2014 was there.

Gronk was accosted in the end zone in 2013.
I remember that one, it was Kouchly ? the lb, but i think there was another one, or maybe multiple bs flags, similar to yesterday.

Great players always come up with an excuse to play with a chip on their shoulders. Brady does it all the time.

Correct. I'm curious which one.

Yep.

Except Brady plays hurt a lot and has never held out.

We almost beat Dallas and Tampa. At the time I didn't like the moral victories, but we at least have shown we can give anybody a game. I think the Bills game will definitely show us more

Tampa wasn't playing with Gronk and JPP. Dallas wasn't playing with Michael Gallup.

I honestly don't think we stand much of a chance against any of those NFC powerhouses if we were to get to the super bowl. The talent difference is too much.
