OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

No surprise after his comments a couple days ago.

Bucs are in good shape without him. No need to rush him back right now.

Completely forgot about that. Yeah the ankle makes a lot of sense.
I think they probably were a little overconfident but BB I'm sure helped keep them on the ground.
With Brady's injury I think it gets tough to manage the kind of pass rush that Brady faced in that game.

Also too the Giants were a terrible match up for us with their run game and fierce pass rush. People forget as talented as that 2007 team, it lacked a powerful run game and average TEs.

I was thinking about that too. I wonder how well we would have countered that pass rush going to the run. Maroney was just ok but he was not a game changer as we all know.

I forgot about the Sammy Morris injury. It seems like his and Rosevelt Colvin's injuries were the turning point of the season.

Deshaun Jackson is demanding a trade out of LA and the Rams have agreed. That seems kind of significant.

Dissention in the locker room?
Probably wants more snaps and targets. He had that big TD vs the Bucs but has pretty much been invisible the rest of the time.

Here’s final injury report for Bucs and Saints. Lavonte David upgraded to full participation, three Saints ruled out for Sunday.

No CB Dee Delaney at practice during the portion open to the media. Gronk, Lavonte David and Richard Sherman are all practicing. Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder/hand) is not working but expected to play.

Time for the Bucs to break out the all linebacker defense.

Murray is hurt. I wonder if that game sends the Cards into a bit of a skid and the Rams take ownership of that division over the next few weeks.

Want to see an example of how "No risk it, no biscuit" is still in play, to at least some extent, in Tampa? Here you go (and take a look at who comes in at #4):

The Bucs lead the league in 'keeping their foot on the gas' They maintain a 48% pass rate in situations where they are dominating (>75% win probability in the 2nd half). That's the highest mark in the league
