The deal is apparently done...as long as the Dolphins can confirm his legal status and as long as Goodell confirms he'll be able to play. Neither of which seems likely:

Wow.
Wonder if Tua is being shipped.

So this means Tua is likely headed somewhere at some point...wonder where that somewhere might be...?

Commissioner on Watson, essentially saying, "we don't know anything, and since we can't say 'it's more probable than not' on this one, we're not doing anything."

"Obviously, the police have been investigating, and we don't have access to all of that information at this point in time," Goodell said. "We pride ourselves on not interfering in that and in being as cooperative as we can in order to get all the facts. I think that process is still ongoing."

Tua to Washington or Denver I was hearing.
I could see New Orleans getting involved in that as well.

I’m not understanding this. Miami is expecting his legal issues to be resolved first. There are 22 accusers in a civil case plus a criminal case and the trade deadline is next week. How is all that going to be resolved by then or does it not need to be?

I was thinking the same thing the deal contingent on how Watson’s legal issues plays out/length of suspension.

I heard a rumor Watson wants to settle and make it public, but apparently the accusers or league does not. It’s very weird.

My guess is Miami is trying to get the Texans to bring the compensation down by wanting these impossible concessions.

If it was a Patriot he's be suspended for a year already.

All this while also making a total bs claim that he’s “protecting” WFT employees who wanted to be anonymous. The NFL is essentially the WWE with the commissioner’s staged “concerns” and plot lines centered only around ratings and profits.

I'd like to see Tua with a HC who can help him as a QB. Payton would be great for him. If he goes to Rivera he's f'd.

I wonder what kind of compensation the Dolphins are giving up. They already raped them from the Tunsil trade a few years ago.

So in other words, Watson's not playing this year. How do you resolve his legal issues and end an open grand jury investigation in less than a week? Never mind getting Goodell to agree to a short or no suspension when he is about to go and testify to Congress about sexual harassment investigation with the WFT.

Even if Watson settles with all 22 plantiffs in six days, there is no guarantee the prosecutor is going to drop his investigation. All I know is these 22 women right now have a lot of leverage to get a lot of money from Watson right now.

Would Tua be part of the deal to Houston?

Its interesting reading at Finheaven as there is a surprisingly good deal of support for Tua. There is also a thread claiming Flores has treated Tua badly according to unnamed players.
