Texans shouldn’t be able to move the ball much either. I see a low scoring game like 13-10.We’re gonna make the Texans look like world beaters today.
Jonas Gray? Let's make sure he set his alarm clock.Stevenson needs to channel his inner Jonas Gray today. Just make the blocks you need to make, make the most of your reps. Oh and hold onto the gdball so you can continue to play.
Good to know, I’ll take that into consideration. You don’t need to watch.
What If our O-line today plays better than it has the whole season @DropKickFlutie might rethink his starting line up.
If that happens then Bill should retire after this game. We’re gonna make the Texans look like world beaters today.
I heard an interesting stat watching Lazar and Barth... Texans have only completed 69 passes so far this season total, but 28 of those (41%) have been to Brandin Cooks. The second-highest WR is Amendola with 6, and he's out.Amendola is out. That helps compensate a little for the CB injuries.
I was thinking spread out, short passes, but we'll see.
Not under the best of circumstances, but he is a binkie of mine, and I'm looking very forward to his steady progress.Good to see Rham back in
LET's GO BRANDON!!!Rham but no JJ. So Brandon Bolden is the 3rd down back? Not encouraged by that. Ah well, maybe BB knows something I don't. Go Pats!
I agree. We shouldn't put Hoyer out there. He's the brains in the QB room.I've seen this idea of playing Hoyer thrown around and it sort of boggles my mind that people genuinely feel that way.
Because the offensive line might not play well due to personnel changes, we should not start our best quarterback? The quarterback who gives the team the best chance to succeed should not play because something bad might happen? On a 1-3 team that needs a win?
I'm not one who's big on "loser mentality" tropes and I understand that sometimes it's smart to be pragmatic, but the idea of playing Hoyer is pretty darn weak, IMO. Do you think Tom Brady would have that mentality - if his starting offensive line was out, that he'd rather not play because the offense might struggle and he might get hurt? Weaksauce.
Show some mental toughness and go out there and execute at a high level with the players who are available.
Good point Ross, we'll see.. ps...love the new pic...I want to see Oliver too. lolI think the Pats want to get the running game going or else they risk being too one-dimensional (and they want to stop Mac from getting totally battered so much...) Of course, who knows if your almost-entirely-replacement-level OL is capable of getting a ton of push.
Wonder if we'll see them use two TEs plus the fullback plus even Harry in tight for maximum blockage.
This is a Patriots fan board. We’re gonna make the Texans look like world beaters today.
