OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

When Stidham is named starter over Mac next summer I'll be going on an I Told You So tour of the board.
Stidham, a true leader.

Stidham went paintballing with his teammates?

I'm not saying there aren't concerns with him. I've raised concerns about him possibly being risk averse based on comments from a poster that watched him in Bama. The lack of zip in his passes could've easily resulted in 2 or 3 more INTs on Sunday (possible pick 6). Let's see how he does in the next four games.

My concern is that these are actually the same thing. He’s risk-averse because his limitations make these risky passes, even though to most NFL quarterbacks they wouldn’t be.

That's unbelievable. If Brady can just continue to keep this team afloat then they can round into form later in the season like they did last year with a healthy defense.
They do play the easy portion of their schedule these next few weeks so they should be okay.

Yes when he organized Patriots West during the offseason. Back then it was just him and Cam with the receivers (not sure they invited Harry). The talk was he was showing good leadership and was going to be ready for TC competition with Cam. Then Mac happened. Then he got injured right before competition began. Lol

"I always thought running toward the goal line was a football move,'' coach Bruce Arians said of the fumble forced by Shaquil Barrett Sunday night that was reversed. He said he's talked with members of the league office that agree with him.

Bruce Arians, on "Bucs Total Access," says hopefully Jamel Dean is back this week to help at corner, confident in Mike Edwards if Antoine Winfield can't get out of concussion protocol as is likely the case.

Anyone want to take a whack at what they think the following tells us?

Interesting that Mac Jones' stats in second half (Bucs without Carlton Davis) were very close to first half: 1st half: 15/20, 130 yards, TD, 2 sacks, 20 yards in DPI 2nd half: 16/20, 145 yards, TD, 2 sacks, 20 yards in DPI

More about the Patriots/Mac than the Bucs. Take the safest pass…not the most effective one.

Jaylon Smith just got cut by the Cowboys.

The Cowboys announced their decision to cut veteran linebacker Jaylon Smith.

According to the official team website, the Cowboys are releasing Smith after exploring trade possibilities.

“The move doesn’t save the Cowboys anything on this year’s salary cap since his salary was guaranteed but potentially saves them from a guaranteed salary in 2022 if he were injured,” Nick Eatman wrote on the team website in explaining the move...

I wonder if either the Bucs or Patriots will have any interest.

I still say the NFC West is Russell Wilson's division to lose until proven otherwise! The Cards are definitely legit this season though!

I just disagree - time and again when the game is there for Russell to win a playoff scenario without his great LOB defense he ****s the bed.
Kyler is a better version of Russell

If the Bucs can somehow some way sign Gilmore, they'll walk through the NFC!
