Official Pre- Game Thread- Bucs @ Pats

Fournette has improved to the level of adequate receiving back…but Bernard is so smooth out there with a little space. I guess White/Bernard both out is still a better scenario for the Bucs than the Patriots. Bucs can function without Bernard…not sure what the Patriots will do for third down back, but it probably won’t be pretty. Then again, Belichick may squeeze more out of the disadvantage than Bowles. Bill, that is. Little Steven will play video games in his dorm or something.
This is true, but it seems like the Patriots need White a bit more than tampa will need Bernard.

Tom Brady isn't coming through that door...wait....

Yeah Pats are screwed. Mac Jones is not Brady.
Brady back then was a 6th round pick and not 7 times Super Bowl winner. I understand Mac Jones will be going against the GOAT and not Payton Manning. I will not be shocked if the Patriots win this game.

Someone on a radio show forgot which one did mention that coaches under Belichick that got a HC job somewhere had success against him from McDaniels in Denver, Obrien in Texans, Patricia in Detroit, Flores in Miami etc. due to the familiarity. Don't know if that will be a factor in this game since TB is a player and not a coach but he does knows everything there is about New England and vice versa

I think we desperately need to rethink our offensive strategy.

specifically, our offensive line is leakier than the titanic (post ice berg), our tight ends are turds in the punch bowl and our running backs are running behind a toilet paper thin offensive luneso we need to dink and dunk our way down the field.

solution:

bourne and Meyers are running routes that work! We keep them doing that.

agular works best when running deep routes and could not catch a cold in his underwear in Alaska in winter! We keep him stretching the defense, and never throw to him.

jj Taylor needs to step up for white.

we need to activate Wilkerson and let him run the short intermediate routes. First, he can get open and second, jones seems to like him. If Wilkerson can hang onto the ball, it will give us a huge advantage.

We give “butterfingers” smith and “fire hydrant” Henry the day off to think about their future career as Jets tight ends!

We activate assyassy and hope he can block someone….., anyone.

Here's the thing, maybe it's not because he wants to win no matter what, but what if this is some sort of old school thing BB has where he lets his proteges win one . For Brady no way.

He's not dropping a game for those Coaches as Brady or the players wouldn't be on board for that. For some bizarre reason, he got outcoached by these guys.

Thats a fireable offense lol every game matters in the NFL

I think even more so he won't let Arians win after he opened his mouth a few times last year.

Is that fake acct?
Who knows but we already know he doesn't have broken ribs. He hasn't practiced though so if he doesn't tomorrow you never know.
