1 (not at all) to 10 (completely), how certain are you that Mac Jones is the long-term answer at QB?

Based off this game? Not confident at all. He's also probably going to get trashed in the Buccaneers game next week.

This is the entire reason why I felt it was better to keep Cam at least through the first 6 weeks. So that Mac Jones would not get his confidence CRUSHED before his career even got started. Cam's a veteran, he can handle getting embarrassed by the GOAT. Mac? Wide eyed rookie. There was no reason to destroy him before he even got off the ground. This game was Mac Jone's worst game as a pro. It's going to get worse before it gets better. Should have made him hold the clip board a while longer, Bill.

Cam blows. Keeping him accomplishes nothing except delay the rebuild with a new QB.

As for Mac welcome to the rookie ride. If Mac is so fragile that a loss ruins him then he was never the guy.

Disagree, Lawrence is easily better.

Better in College, despite Mac winning the National Championship - I wouldn't argue too much. Better in the NFL so far?

If one rotten stretch is going to destroy his confidence, it's better to know that sooner rather than later.

That said, I've seen no evidence that's happening.

Still confident in him. He had a bad pick and took a bad sack but otherwise did fine all things considered. He was under constant pressure. It's really a shame the OL that was supposed to make the growing easy for him has made it as difficult as can be.

what are you supposed to do when your down 20 plus and zero running game?
And Brandon Boldin as your only RB.

Harris got benched for some reason, probably his non block on the opening drive, but he was gone after that until a laTE scteen pass

Supremely confident. Wait until he improves his lower body strength, which will result in more “zip” on the ball. He has all the intangibles.

Depends what you mean by 'the guy'. Is he a franchise QB? I think so. Is he a guy who can carry you if need be and be a top QB. Right now I'm thinking no, but i did like some flashes today.

i think he's the real deal... selected 9/10 ... this is a baptism by fire... there will be good games and there will be bad games... the saints d is the real deal, and threw multiple looks at him... combined with less than stellar line play, today was a learning experience... once he learns how to really read a defense and set protections, he will be better off...

I mean that there isn't a question, two or three years from now, of selecting another QB in the draft.

Somehow I doubt Mac is as emotionally fragile as you apparently think that he is.

Josh Rosen was drafted 10th overall. One of many guys who flamed out or now project to a ceiling of backup QB drafted high at the QB position.

Very possible that’s all Mac is. We don’t know yet and won’t find out for a while imo. Next week will add to his story either way.
