OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Rodgers was 1/7 for 7 yards just before halftime, leading to a 17-0 hole, before he racked up gimmies against a prevent zone defense. How much do you want to bet he finishes with a pristine statistical game in the same manner, while losing, and then the fanbase will point to the box score and cry the team let him down?

NFC suddenly feels a bit different all a sudden. Not sure how much the Bucs need to fear the Saints in the division but wow the Packers are just...wow.

I can see the Packers eventually getting their **** together or totally imploding this season!

The Packers greatest advantage this season is that they are in the AFCN. Having the Lions at home next week will give the team a chance to re-set itself before it has to go on the road against the 49ers.

Rodgers has turtled. I also noticed how much the team responded to Love. What Rodgers did this off-season can't make his teammates really want to go to war for him. His long hair and beard. He looks as disinterested as ever and that is saying something for him.

If they don’t get that bye though it’s a different ballgame.

The Niners looked really good.

Other former Pats who had a good day:
Chandler Jones, 5 sacks
Hogan and Amendola with a TD
Brandin Cooks with 135 yards

They should fear the Saints...all things considered they were the only ones who truly gave the Bucs offense issues. Sean Payton can also scheme around the Bucs D. All depends on Jameis.

It wouldn't surprise me too much if the Packers bounced back, but Rodgers is just not reliable in the post-season. Seahawks are potentially dangerous but I don't believe their D or o-line has been fixed adequately to maintain a post-season run. The Saints' defense gave the Bucs some issues last year but another year in that offense for Brady and everyone should help overcome most of those troubles. The Rams seem very solid on both sides of the ball and could be a tough matchup.

I believe Packers have one of the hardest strength of schedules this season. Playoffs won't be going through the frozen tundra.

Thing with the Saints is they have Arians #. They know how to attach the Bucs defense and they can slow down the Bucs O.

He's evolved. He's now in touch with his inner... animal spirit. Yea that's it. His animal spirit.

Arians is just going to have everyone eating crab legs on the sidelines. That'll distract Jaboo enough to force a few INTs.

The Packers' pre-bye schedule after next week's Lion hunt:

Tough schedule, but they're going to win their division and, probably, be the #3 seed in the NFC.

Bucs/Rams
Rams/Bucs
Packers
Cowboys/Redskins

Week 3 vs Rams might be big to decide the #1 seed.

15/28
133 Yards
4.8 YPA
0 TD
2 INT
36.8 Passer Rating

Oof.
