Shoulder injury, right? Did he tear his labrum?

I thought they asked him to do more than he could last year as they tried to figure out where in the puzzle he fit. he wasn't impressive. Then this year, thus far and now all the way through, nothing.

Hope he can bounce back, but at least he's in a position where the Pats are deep and talented.

It was shoulder to end last season, but we haven't really gotten any information about what's going on now. His situation is similar to Terez Hall (PUP) in that it would be super bizarre for either guy to be questionable (not ruled out in advance) for week 17 but then still out in September, unless we're talking about either a new injury or a setback.

I think this is possible but I don’t see a big upside

Maybe not a big upside but for what it's worth...I think he had the most receiving yards for the Pats in preseason. Mac and him clicked at times...he's got to fix the drops tho.

I hope the team can utilize Winovich now that he’s back. He’s given some quality tackles fits & is going from the top rusher to a rotational player. A DL of Uche - Barmore - Judon - Winovich on 3rd & long could be unreal.

The moment they get a decent offer on the table Winovich gets moved is still my guess.
The roster is far from set. Still overload at DL/edge and thin at some other positions.
Plenty of moves to come over next 2 weeks incl trades.

The day settled down after Newton and Folk were cut, and Gilmore was placed on PUP.
We can presume that Harry will placed on IR and Hoyer

Giants cut WR David Sills, I really like him, he’s a Patriot’s type player, former QB playing WR. Has good size at 6’3” 220 and good hands. I don’t see it happening, but I’d love to see him get to the Pat’s practice squad.

We need someone who can play effectively in week 1 after Harry goes to IR. That would be Wilkerson or Zuber, even though less talented players.
