So we now have a ridiculous discussion about nonsense from Yahoo.com, with people using it to just turn this into a dog pile on Zolak. But maybe, just maybe, we could turn the attention to where it belongs, which is on the media ******* who's trying to make a big deal out of nothingness. I'm sure that would still make for a ridiculous discussion, but it would at least have some underlying value.

Zo took a nine year NFL career with seven starts and turned it into a career in media.

He gets paid good money to talk sh!t on sports radio and be a dumbass sidekick for the Pats radio network.

He's done well given what he's working with.

I listened to WEEI this morning for a bit and they are trying to stoke this into the greatest controversy ever. Wiggins was interviewed and essentially said that if you disparage Rap music, you are disparaging black Americans.

A few questions I have:

If Steven A called out a white QB for dancing to country music during practice, would that be racist?

If Zo called out a white QB for dancing to Rap music during practice, would that be racist?

I am a white male. If I proclaim that I don't like rap music and think most of it sucks, does that make me a racist?

I have MANY black friends.More black friends than white ones tbh. More than 1/2 of em dont like most rap and hiphop. Neither do I. There is a ton of superb r&b, jazz,reggae and blues that is dominated by black artists. Not saying there is no decent hiphop or rap, there is some. But a lot of garbage. Just like heavy metal- mostly garbage but theres some thats good. Ditto w. Pop.
Hiphop and rap is mostly kids music. Black kids. White kids. Latino kids. asian kids. Kids have bad taste in music.

No, it doesn't. I don't like it either but that's because I don't relate to it culturally or find it artistically compelling. (I'd never say it "sucks," though, just because it ain't my bag.) What unfortunately is getting lost in this discussion is Zolak's issue with Cam's alleged lack of focus.

The only time I listen to rap/hip hop is when some flaming douche blasts it at a red light, with his windows down so we can all hear the absurdly loud, bloated bass and obscenities.
