I remember back during the 2000 season as the Patriots were working their way to a 5 and 11 season a lot of us were off Bledsoe and wanted to replace him with Michael Bishop who happens to be black.

The shine was starting to come off on Bledsoe. I have maintained it was a question of when he lost his job, not if. The Mo Lewis hit hastened his departure.
