We need a healthy kicker and long snapper.

The rest seems to be in reasonable shape. Who or which positions do you think are needed? I don't think that any are essential, although I think that some would certainly help (FB and a C/G for me). I don't even care which player wins the C/G position.

I give up on the 3rd QB, the 9th OL and on the STer (understanding that Bolden can make it by beating out Taylor or he could come back after Game 1.

PICK 8
1) 3rd QB
2) 8th OL (G/C)
3) 9th OL
4) 5th WR
5) RB
6) FB
7) 14th Front Six Player
8) 9th DB
9) 4th STer (in addition to Slater, Bethel and Davis)
10) K
11) LS

WR Agholor, Meyers, Bourne, Olszewski

Good way of looking at the roster choices. I agree with your choices x 45.

Just based on the two games I would keep JJ Taylor. Some beat reporters have mentioned that his tackling will be his weak spot which is fair comment however I do remember "a" game last season where he picked up the blitz and knocked the player flat.

QB) Hoyer
RB) Taylor
OT) Herron
OL) Sherman
WR) Wilkerson (and special teams)
FB/TE) Johnson
K) Folk (If he is fit ?)
LS) Cardona

Cajuste had a good game v the eagles but is that enough. Maybe one of Cajuste/Herron/Sherman to make way for another CB ??

Seems extremely unfair to me.

Who is the QB named Davis that we are trading Mac Jones for?

There is no way I would keep Bolden over Taylor.

Not sure how Davis beat out Mac Jones.

That said, good job overall.

1)Have to add Johnson because there is no chance we have no FB on the roster.
8th OL is a lock and I’m pretty sure it’s 2)Herron because of position versatility.
3) Have to have a 5th WR, Gunner is not a 4.
4) k
5) LS
6) I think we need 9th db because they get injured a lot, contribute on sts more than any other position group and Gilmore is already injured.

That leaves 2 that should be based upon the guy rather than the role.
I don’t see Carl Davis getting cut.
Rb is interesting because I could certainly see Taylor making the team but he would be buried. It looks like Michel is being prepped to take up whites role if he misses time so Taylor is at least 2 injuries away.
The lb/edge spot is loaded, can’t see any role for an additional one.
Last spot seems like either a special teamer or someone who would end up on the ps but they don’t want to expose, or Qb3

There is no way I would keep Bolden over Taylor.

Not sure how Davis beat out Mac Jones.

That said, good job overall.
Bolden wouldn’t be kept OVER Taylor, he’d be kept over a different ster. Rb position is all set without either of them.

-Herron I believe is going to make the team along with Cujste to round out the OL. A very good and deep group. Sherman to Practice Squad.
- At RB, tough choice between Bolden and JJ. At this point, I'd lean toward Bolden, but as previous poster said, both may make team.
-J.Williams will make team as the 4th cb, Mills as the jam of all trades.
-If Harry is healthy, I think he makes the team at #4 Wr
-Surprise cut- Henry Anderson...don't like it when a veteran is consistently playing deep into preseason games, hasn't made to many plays.
-Folk is our kicker
-DL is going to be interesting but I believe Carl Davis has made the team

QB- All set. Cam and Mac show
RB- All set. Can't see them keeping 6 RBs. JJ is making this team. Bolden shown the door? I really like Harris/Sony 1-2. Maybe Sony is traded in Oct if Rham shows he can pick up the blitz consistently.
OL- All set.
WR....Seems like the need another respected target. Harry is gone.
TE....Smith and HH are set. Asiasi has not shown me much but as a TE3 he may be fine
FB/TE4- Jakob
DL- All set. Not sure what to make of Anderson. Seems like hes not doing much.
ILB and OLB/EDGE- All set. Wino should make the team
FS/SS- All set
CB- Gilly needs to be CB1 and everything else will fall into place
P- All set
K- Folk please
ST- Core is there

I would hate to see Bolden leave. Hes been so solid @ ST, Pass catcher and fill in RB. If a RB goes down which is a given, Bolden has held the fort down.

JJ Taylor shows so much promise. Love his shifty style and its only a matter of time before he breaks one to the house.

Mills as the jam of all trades.
Mixed berry? :p

Keep Folk. Nordin may go on and be a stud in this league. Maybe in a dome, but thats just a gamble that the Pats have to take.

If the Pats TEs dont show up bigly, the NE WRs will be exposed. Im not enamored with the position as I am with RB and TE. The Pats have a bunch of hopefuls. If a decent WR comes available via roster cuts, Id like the Pats to sign him up.

I'll do the whole 53, but those in red don't make the game day roster.

Offense - 25

QB 3 - Cam, Mac, Hoyer
WR 5 -Agholor, Bourne, Meyers, Olszewski, Wilkerson
TE 3 - Henry, Smith, Asiasi
OL 8 - Brown, Onwenu, Andrews, Mason, Wynn, Karras, Cajuste, Herron (Hearing good thing about Sherman, so he may make it over Cajuste. Also Herron can be an emergency blocking TE)
RB 5 - Harris, Michel, White, Stevenson, Taylor (Bolden is a tough cut.. but Taylor has shined too much. Though trading Michel could make sense. Last year of his deal and looks to be catching the ball well).
FB 1 - Jakob Johnson

Defense 22

DL - 7 - Godchaux, Guy, Barmore, Davis, Wise, Anderson, Winovich (Chase may be a cut... but his pass rush ability is somewhat legit so in my mind he is a keeper)
LB - 6 - Hightower Van Noy, Judon, Perkins, Uche, Bentley
CB 5 - Gilmore Jackson Jones, Mills, Williams.
S 4 - McCourty Dugger, Phillips, Davis

STs 5 Cardona, Bailey, Slater, Bethel, IDK who the kicker will be.

There's one spot let to fill on defense. Still unsure about that. Maybe Myles Bryant at CB? Maybe a front 7 guy? IDK.

Rumor going around that key to Pats WR tryouts is the ability to field a bounce pass and make it look like a catch. No?
