I think Bolden will be a lock just because of what he brings to the coverage units. Hard to envision a scenario where Taylor wins the other spot over Michel.Michel>Bolden
I think Taylor, Michel, and Bolden are up for 2 spots. But maybe 1.

Taylor showed promise last season and is that shifty/short 3rd down man that NE always has.I think Bolden will be a lock just because of what he brings to the coverage units. Hard to envision a scenario where Taylor wins the other spot over Michel.
I conversely love the "measurables matter most" takes.I love these “measurables don’t matter” takes.
I cant just browse some of these posts as then I'm convinced the Patriots signed Michael Bolton (the singing one, not the Office Space one)Michel>Bolden
Yep, Bolden does everything not great, but good and knows his role. Does his job.I think Bolden will be a lock just because of what he brings to the coverage units. Hard to envision a scenario where Taylor wins the other spot over Michel.
How do they clock speed on "0" and "6" yard plays?
I’ve never seen those.I conversely love the "measurables matter most" takes.

You're mixing things up a bit. Ridley went round 3, Vereen round 2. I don't really see much of a pattern besides the first rounders play early and everyone else may or may not play early.Yeah, it seems like if you were drafted in the first two rounds (Michel, Maroney, Ridley) you play a significant role in year 1. Anything beyond that (Vereen, White, Harris) and you pick it up in year 2. That said, the RB group this year is going to be REALLY interesting, because you've also got Bolden and Taylor in the mix. Unless they're keeping 6, someone's gotta go.

In some ways it feels like I'm just nitpicking, but it does show that we had a draft where we took 2 RB and the later one played first.Huh, so it is... weird, for some reason I had them reversed, maybe because Ridley ended up playing first. Either way, thank you for the correction.

I would've waived Devin Ross before Marvin Hall... We now officially have Zero NFL speed at WR besides Agholor...
Tre Nixon is theoretically as fast as Agholor. Anyone know what's up with him? He's not practicing - injury? I know he got #87 (same as the Ernie Adams pick Givens), so maybe that tiny speck of sentimentality in BB is gonna keep Nixon in.
The actor from Homeland, Band of Brothers and Billions? I love that guy!Yeah. Damien Lewis Harris.
When asked about Agholor's absence from practice recently Jakobi Meyers said (paraphrasing) Nelson's presence creates space underneath for he and Bourne to make plays. Speed is a component needed on this offense the same way physicality or mobility is... there's a different tool for every job.Just a quick couple since, of course, there's no absolutism in either end of the spectrum of player selection criteria (I'm going to bet "measurables don't matter" has also never been uttered here unless sarcastically).
There's no way the capt nor jbean are saying "keep Hall and Nixon simply because of their speed", but it could be inferred without context.
