I haven't been watching these drafts lately. I made the mistake of saying "Given how messed up this past year was, why not give it another shot?"


Huge mistake. This will be the last night of draft that I ever watch.

Ok well, the next time you also quit the board for forever make sure to come back in time for the draft you've quit watching for forever.

Feels like a solid defensive player always falls to the Ravens or Steelers late 1st. Might be the case with Ravens if Moehrig lands to them.

Why are people crediting the 49ers with a smokescreen? What the hell is the point of going to tremendous lengths to hide your true draft pick preference when picks 1 & 2 are already set and no one is going to give you anything close to what you'd need to justifying moving out of that spot after paying so much to get into it. It seems like they're in damage control mode in trying to sell Lance as a generational prospect all of a sudden.

A smokescreen is when you conceal your intentions as part of your means of moving up to draft someone unexpectedly. This was nothing more than hiding their decision from the media for some pointless reason.

People are just surprised they spent that much on the riskiest guy in the first round. He could pay off but Jones and Fields had higher floors so they are now on the hot seat for his development.
