These stats say that Jones is a one read QB who is terrible when he has to go to his second read and fields had to go to his second read twice as much and was way, way more successful when he did.

I know you like jones bit I am pointing out your liking of him isn’t based upon any real analysis because the number show the opposite of what you think.

It’s that obvious that the bs about Fields being a 1 read QB is wrong and that in fact Jones was.
That is not the only evaluation of a qb and different evaluators grade players differently, but yeah, you are right SF is very likely taking fields.

Fields stinks. He’s not better than mac. The guy’s slow to process things. Just blitz and he looks awful.

Everyone thought that Fields would be one of the top 3. SF may still pick Fields at 3. However, SF may very well have a judgement different from what is obvious to so many others

yes, but there is much that seems to be based on inside information. Of course, SF has every right to give misleading information to the media. In SF's case there seems little point in trying to mislead.

I suppose that they could be trying to embarrass a team that trades into 4 thinking that might want Fields but not Lance or Jones.

Nah it’s just common practice to not tell people who you are going to draft. (Unless you are picking first)
I don’t think there is any inside info just speculation. It started when there was a rumor they were trying to trade with Cincy at 5 first.

The jets may very well take fields as well.

The 2nd was an impromptu session at Alabama’s 2nd pro day. The one Belichick was caught on camera shaking his head at McDaniels after a Jones miss throw. That Jones even took part in that session is even more proof he’s been told he’s San Francisco’s pick.

This is a 2nd session for Fields and Lance, and it’s very unusual to schedule another work out so close to the draft. It partially confirms my suspicion after the Darnold to Carolina trade that one if not both are falling.

I saw Breer reporting that the only two teams going to Justin Fields’ second pro day are... the Pats and the 49ers.

I feel like this is just the longest game of chicken ever with these two.
