I don't know that he was never as good as he talked, all things taken into consideration. I don't remember him constantly talking about himself, but I'm not a Cam-monitor or anything. I know he has that "Superman" move, which really looks better on a guy who can beat you with his legs and his arm. But I mean, he was pretty deadly at times, and until recently, a top 1/3 of the league kind of QB.I never cared much for him, but I never hated him. I see him as a bullsh!tter that was never as good as he talked. He's proving that here.
Ahhhhmunno, maybe you stick him with Nelson Ahlgolong and it'll be raining TDs all season long, who knows.
We might need medical doctors to compile the totality of the (curable) excuse for Cam. There's the COVID, there's the 2019 surgery, the 2018 TJ Watt hit, the earlier rotator cuff surgery, etc. etc. I mean, dude comes roaring back in 21, congrats to everyone involved, we got a cheap QB, he got a proof-of-concept year. If he tears it up in 21, everybody will forget 20, because you know, it was his first year in the system, it was his covid year, he had no weapons, he was still messed up from the 2019 surgery, etc.
I just have a gut feeling, backed up by stats, of, in a word, no.
