So in other words the Pats are very interested in JG and looking forward to SF lowering their price.
Yeah this is absolutely calling their bluff.

SF: he’s not for sale!!! (Read: We want a 1st)

Bill: np I actually don’t even really want him so it’s cool, I’ll trade for Minshew or draft Mac, no biggie dude. Let him know I wanna talk to him later this year or next year when you cut him though. (Read: I’m not giving you a 1st)

or it's not posturing because Pats got word Garoppolo has no interest in re-doing his deal if traded and he holds the power because he has a no trade clause. Has anyone thought that maybe Garoppolo has no interest in going back to the ownership that demanded he be traded?
You mean the coach

lol imagine trading up into the top 3 for a QB

and Darnold's about to get replaced.
The other side to this, is the G.O.A.T was drafted at 199 in the sixth round. Nothing is certain, some things can be measured and some things can't be measured. Making the best use of the tools you have while strengthening weaknesses, plus the drive to be the best are part of the equation too.

We can't do anything until we know who SF picks at #3 and who is available at #15.

What? Belichick wanted to keep him.
Sure he would have liked to but his contract was up. Please don’t tell me you are taking about the ****amamie belichick wanted to trade Brady and keep Jimmy bs. That’s been directly refuted long ago

Here's what I'm not buying. How could Kraft demand Jimmy get traded, but not override Bill and say we're the GOAT?

Something's not adding up.
Because Kraft didn’t demand Jimmy get traded. Belichick traded him.

How often can the GOAT be drafted, regardless of draft position?

This.

SB winning QB's by draft round.

Round 1: 30 (including Steve Young)

Round 2: 3

Round 3: 7 (4 of these are Montana)

Round 4: 1

Round 5: 0

Round 6: 8 (all but one of these is these are Brady)

Round 7: 0

Round 8: 0

Round 9: 2

Round 10: 2

Undrafted: 1

It's stupid to bet on an outlier and it's clear where the most value is in the draft at QB. Round 3 and 6 are the two most successful rounds outside of 1 and it's because the GOAT pre Brady and Brady were some of the luckiest hits of all time. Outside of those two outliers, it's basically a complete shot in the dark anywhere but the first

or it could be....wait for it....THE TRUTH

or San Fran got an offer from carolina or Washington that the patriots will not match,

or hopium...
