I doubt that
Why? At the right price, why wouldn’t they bring him in to compete with Cam and, hopefully, a rookie. I wouldn’t give him much of a salary guarantee, though.

Montravius was another Drew Rosenhaus client, #5 this week

So, who else does he represent?

yikes..

tua Parker Fuller...some great young offensive talents there

Luckily, Tua sucks. Must be embarrassing for him to read former teammates saying that Jones is better than he is. I am hoping that the dolphins aren’t ready to admit their mistake and take a QB at 3.

Watched Cowherd yesterday when he asked Rosenhaus which client he's meeting with. Drew said he couldn't tell him because he had just told a GM the player was on a plane on his way to meet with another team, instead of going to meet with him in Miami. They both laughed. Drew went on to say that he'll do anything to get his clients (and himself) the best deal.

I think (scumbag) Drew snookered Dolla, Dolla Bill into all those high $$ guarantees with the same line: player Y is on his way to meet with team X, better hurry. Sigh

What is Mitch thinking? Doesn't he want to go to a place where he might have a chance to compete for a starting position? He has zero shot of starting barring injury in Buffalo.

He goes to a place that fixed a similar prospect from epic bust into having a great season last year.

Seems like both sides think there is something to work with here.

You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.

Can any of our draft guys go back to his notes on him from 2017? Seems like he had a very good senior year and Senior Bowl but has been totally invisible as a pro. Hopefully that is not $2.5 million guaranteed.

Somehow, I don't think BB falls for that trick. He's been around the block once or twice

This will be closer to vet min id guess & more of a TC/reclamation signing so doesn't affect anything necessarily.
They normally bring 7-8 DL to TC. Only Cowart is from the old roster who is a sure thing to be there. Spence is older and saves some cap & the rest were basically PS.

I did and still do believe they will search for one rotational option/future starter in the Draft though...

I would be shocked if no one would sign him for something above vet min. He was great to solid through his entire stay here.

Perplexing to me.

I meant Adams. The point was this move doesn't affect what they do with Guy..

Meetings weren't allowed until Wednesday at 4, so that's completely irrelevant to contracts agreed to on Monday.

Because Mariotta isn't taking peanuts to go battle for a job. Guy is content taking the "overpriced backup" offer.

I think it's silly to demonize agents for negotiating with the same aggression as the teams use, but you could easily replace "meeting" with "phone call" and it would be allowed within the legal tampering period.
