Now this would be the last power / full circle D move. Just don't know if its legal..

The only problem with this becomes if the assets used to trade for him get in the way of whatever assets are needed to bring in a QB (be it a vet or a trade up for one of the rooks). As much as I want another good piece for the DL, and Hicks would be perfect for that, the overall roster is now pretty solid. More depth and competition is needed across the board with secondary signings, but priority one with resources has to be figuring out the long term QB situation. If they can swing Hicks for a reasonable price though? Sign me up.

No, you’re just an insufferable person. I can obviously see that now. I’m not the only one to realize that, bud. Brady Anderson hit 50 homers in ‘96 and that’s an aberration because he didn’t come close to that in previous years or the years after. Let’s play semantics all night!
Look, I'm sorry you don't know how to use the word "aberration" properly. But you were the one who came with the follow up about "professor", and you are the one who continues to keep posting about a word when you don't have a grasp of the definition.

In short, you are the one being insufferable. So, if you want to continue being a prick, feel free to so do. But we're done here.

If we can sign one of Golladay, JuJu, or Fuller.....I swear I'll run down my street naked whilst howling at the moon!*

*Not really, but you get my point.

This team is a legitimate qb away from seriously contending.

Aaron rodgers in 2022. Watch out for it.

Not my fight, but you did start the semantics debate.

Deus used the word correctly and you didn't like the context in which it was applied.

Hopefully Agholor's last season was a sign of things to come, but until he proves it, it is very accurate to say his breakout season was an aberration.

Just odd that you are derailing this thread over the use of a word

Aberration is a bit of a misnomer because it implies there is some predictability, and that something deviated from that. Agholor is still young and developing, so we can't really predict his performance. It's not like he's a grizzled veteran who's been mediocre his entire career and then had a uniquely good season.

That has literally no relevance at all. His career, as of now, is his career, and does not consist of what's yet to come. What his career will end up having been when looking back a decade from not, is of no import to this discussion. Again, "aberration" has no need to fold time.

Respectfully disagree. Agholor has already played six full seasons and will be 28 at the start of this season. There’s not a lot of developing left for him to do. I think it’s more likely than not that what we saw from him last season was his ceiling. It wouldn’t surprise me if that ended up being the outlier. But the good thing is he’s in his physical prime so he can still be productive if he maintains his form, even if his overall numbers may take a dip. As long as he’s making the plays when needed.

I don’t expect him to get much better, if at all, than the guy he was last year. But if we even just got that same guy, it would be worth it. Major deep threat.

RB should be next for us. We've lost White and Burkhead. Michell is on his last year. And all we've added so far this year is Bolden.

This is what drives me crazy. How do you build a pretty deep and talented team (albeit nothing off the charts on offense, just a bunch of good pieces) like this and hand the keys to Cam and/or a rookie.

If I’m Bill I’m getting old, I want to win a championship after seeing Brady win it all. Do your best to make a run at Deshaun Watson and shoot for the stars the next two seasons.

Or Russ. Deshaun is in the AFC which is a no no for trades.

If HOU can get a reasonable deal, they'll take it from a AFCE team. They are looking for someone to help them solve their very large problem. They won't be so picky.

Agree. He found a coach who was able to recognize his strengths and who put him in a position to use them effectively. The fact that he was misused in Philly shouldn’t be held against Agholor now.

Sort of added Taylor in that he had almost no role last year and would have a larger one this year.

Seattle is not trading Wilson. The Bears were willing to do anything to get him. The Texans are not trading Watson as of right now. The Panthers are willing to do anything to get him. Stop putting it on Bill because he can’t get teams to trade away their elite franchise quarterbacks when they don’t want to.

Ideally if they are gonna get a FA RB I want Carson, has a 4.6 career avg and an 80% catch rate on 100 targets the last 2 years But he's probably looking for a team where he's the definitive #1.

But he would be the ideal replacement for White & Burkhead

Bears just signed a former Cardinal DT, hopefully Hicks is in play for a trade.

Damien Harris is breaking out this year. Those two tight ends are going to spring Michel and him for some big gains. Can’t wait

It will be intererstjng if whether they are going to bring back Rex or go with another. I’m guessing it will be Rex.
